Tesla Roadster Experience | Pacific Coast Highway
I had the opportunity to borrow a 2010 First Generation Tesla Roadster for 2 weeks and decided that it would be fun to document the user experience in 2022. We took a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway, visiting Big Sur and Moonstone Beach. It was a great trip and a fun car.

Restomod PC Build - Windows 95 | QEMU | Linux
zhlédnutí 3,3KPřed 2 lety
Take a look at my restomod PC build where I combine the aesthetics of vintage hardware with the convenience of modern emulation. I restored (resto) and modified (mod) a vintage 286 system with damaged internals replacing with modern components. The result is a great homage to systems of the early '90s and a fairly usable desktop workstation system. The restomod is based on an Atomic Pi quad cor...
Reel to Reel Master Tape Transfer
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 2 lety
Follow along as I attempt a master tape transfer from Ampex 456 tape using my Pioneer RT-909. This isn't a perfect transfer given that the track layout of the tape doesn't match my machine, but it is good enough for a first pass. I will send this over to @video99couk for a second pass! Excited to work with him as I enjoy his channel very much. Links: Blog: www.theresistornetwork.com/ Alt Channe...

Finally, a home hi-fi tour! Follow along as I show you some of the components in my home theater. I have been interested in audio/video gear since I was a kid and have really enjoyed diving back into some of the older analog formats such as reel-to-reel, cassette and vinyl. Pioneer RT-909 Reel-to-Reel Demo | Rare Anodized in Black

Here is a video demonstrating my Pioneer RT-909 open reel recorder. This is a unique piece of equipment because it has been anodized in black. The quality of the finishes are extremely high. Whoever did this conversion paid great attention to detail and even anodized the dials, which is uncommon in these conversions. I hope you enjoy the demo. I will have another video demonstrating my entire h...

This is a follow-up video to the first about QRTape to demonstrate more footage of the project. All good things must come to an end and it is time to bid farewell to this toy. Given that QRTape is made of cardboard, I have decided that it is time to recycle it to make space for more fun projects in the future. Why are the original psx shell so expensive even to this day? you can get a very good slim ps1 psone shell for around $35
Can you provide a block diagram of your set up, indicating the wiring and components of how they are interconnected? 73's
Blown away by the 2 ends of the spectrum where card board meets software. I put you in the engius, genius category. I look at people such as yourself & constantly ask myself how on earth do these people understand functions, classes, enumerations + a thousand other terms etc, etc . I have tried but it is always it confuses me - one new term after. No matter how many tutorials / books I've looked at. New words in every other sentence take me further away from trying to understand software. I take my hat off hat off to all those like youeself.
Dude! Get your Extra! KN6FU would be the most awesome callsign ever!
If you're using XFCE you can make it look like Windows 95 with Chicago95.
I did! Very nice skin.
Thank you for your video and your project. It was a very nice build.
Recently I’ve got a mavica. It’s just so fun to use. Yeah the photos are awful, but it’s just cool
KQ4SEV Brad here. Lived in Walnut Creek for many years. Used to go up on the mountain a lot. Great location. Relocated to Lexington, KY a decade ago. Brings back memories.
Fascinating ! Just bought a second hand DAT machine and years ago I got that exact same sound card as you have so will have to try this
"portable"... Gees, bit ot a stretch.
What happens when you open your mac? Can it do mac + 3 monitors? Thanks
This is a very cool hack! If you can encode all the way to 16 bit 44.1 you can store HD videos on Audio CDs! Sadly, the H.265 compression did not exist back in the 1990s otherwise we would be having very good quality Video CDs which could store up to 74 min of high-quality compressed video which would surpass the low quality MPEG1 VCD standard back in the day! Still, I don't like media compression. I would like to see a CZcams video being played with digital noise, and this being able to be converted into lossless 16 bit 48 khz or 16 bit 44.1 khz audio which would turn CZcams into a storage haven for high quality audio recording but will alarm CZcams and the record labels unless the data is encrypted.
My man it has been 11 years where is the github repo with the code? This is too good to become lost media
This is probably the best looking rig I've seen so far. See you on the air! 73
Now - do video with an analogue cassette deck ❤👀👀
Do you happen to have a link of where I can get the custom led bulbs for the power switch and controller?
Pity there isn't more content on the channel. Wonderful build. Would love to just see detailed build outs and a lot more about reel to reel, etc. Turns out that folks into this type of content have very similar hobbies!
Awesome build! Great quality video, as well.
hi DAT SONY i have alot of bad luck with them as the cap go down i have a ADAT decks i have alot of luck with the 90's are bad news with parts getting bad look ace if you worked for the gov i bet you could get them i know there was alot of cool gear out there that's only gov only
What a beautiful piece. I would love to have one like that
What fan did you use as the replacement ?
Very well done in thought layout, workmanship, and clear concise video. Excellent job!
If you had the yellow soft pad those scratches would not be there
Very nice project, well done now try to upgrade that license to enjoy all your hard work.
Nicely done sir! This has given me the most info of all my research so far. One thing that's not clear here is the type of MacBook Pro chip you're using. Is it the M1 Max or M1 Pro and can you share the spec on the RAM as well? I'm also curious to know if there would be a way to run more than 4 external monitors with it by having a 5th or even sixth coming of the MacBook Pro M1 Max?
wow this is so cool
Firstly Thank you for making this video, I am happy to find this video over internet. I want to establish communication between Raspberry Pi 5 and PC (desktop) over RF. In this communication, simply, I want to transfer some sensor data with live video streaming from pi to PC. please guide me for this process. I am a beginner in this field. Not much knowledge about it. My project is restricted to use RF link communication. Help me please

Looks great…especially with the whiskey. Very true
Wow looks amazing really enjoyed having an option for solar power.
Hello i tried it but not working Compiler problem
You do a great job, really enjoyed this.
Could this be used to create a off grid wireless mesh net similar to the Internet?
Very nice work. Great attention to detail
is this video tranmission possible with two stm32 board ?
Not directly, unless you want to deal with the USB stack and everything by yourself.
Any ideas on how to restore bits of the manual cover that got stuck-on to the inside of the jew case due to improper storing?
I had that exact mouse pad 😂
🤩🤩🤩
Awesome!
beautiful project
So the lesson is don't do this. Bake the tapes first, then transfer. I've learned this lesson myself, you're not alone. Ampex 456 almost always needs to be baked.
Holy sh@t
10 yr ago, now you are a man (or not?)
I like the anodize I the same in silver do you know how they anodize ?
Now i can make my DAT movie collection ha ha, thanks! Oh, after 4 years, now it's time to do it with Philips DCC!
I have this exact same unit i picked up for cheap hoping to use it for a project. I have a 72v 26ah LFE battery pack that I hooked up in place of the lead acid. it works fine for the originally intended UPS purpose, however what I would like to do is charge this battery pack with a solar panel setup I'm building, and use the UPS as an inverter to power a 200w pump that I have running approx 6 hrs/day. Do you know how to turn off/disable/remove the feature of the UPS that would allow me to run devices straight off the battery and not have to wait for power to be cut from the wall plug?
