I've been using Tom Moroney's Auto-Sub for a few months, and it's been working great. However, today, I updated to 19 for Davinci Resolve, and that's caused a few issues where the text in the drop-down box is gone, and I'm unable to add any new text to the media pool that the script will recognize. Tom has said in the comments of his original video he is working on an update that should be out this month. 🤞 In the meantime... I'm about to pay for the full version, or I've got to go back and manually type that $h** in. I'm so glad I started pumping out shorts every day again. 😅

I know it's been a while but I'm wondering if there's a way to do pop-in with smooth pop-out as 1 title template and use it with Snap Captions? Could it be done so that the Text+ clips would adjust the animation lenght to subtitle duration? Hope my question makes sense

You can do this with adjustment clips too

Hi! Im having trouble with the length of my title. So whenever I add my saved title animation to use in a project, the title is too 'short' so I have to go like 1-2 seconds forward on the title layer until I see the animation. What can I do?

Or just make it a compound clip and it will automatically create a new timeline. No need to do the alt 1 and 2 because you can open side by side viewer

Hi! Thanks for your video, very helpful. I have a question about subtitles, I hope your expertise could help me: the automatic transcriptions of my videos are full of errors (I'm not a native English speaker and I talk about medicine and neuroscience, with a lot of weird words). Is there a way to replace the Davinci Resolve transcript with my original script? It will save a lot of time to create the subtitles from the correct text instead of editing the subtitles word by word.

I am going to buy your Captions Essentials (paid version). But I live in Europe. And we shoot things in 25 fps here. I can see that the POP preset only exits in 24 fps and 60 fps and its not included in the ANY FPS category either. Will POP (24 fps) work just fine on a 25 fps timeline?

Something I like doing in davinci is using an adjustment clip on top w different type of punch ins and outs and then pasting them where needed- this saves time too and helps if you wanna add some variance!
