I like the video I love learning new little tricks but in that same amount of time that you test them individually. Couldn't you just left all the spark? Plugs in taking the head off and looked at the gasket?? Not trying to throw shade. I know it's not sound that way. But I'm just lazy with this type of stuff.I guess I just do whatever fastest.But like I said, thanks for the tip.Definitely gonna remember that

Walking with Christ is a discipline, if you get lazy, even just not praying regularly and not being in the word daily, and I know because I did, you can easily backslide or fall victim to doubt and temptations of the flesh. It’s so easy. You have to make time for God.

Theoretically this sounds like it would work and it will but, you have to remember now you have a strait "deck" but now you have cam journals that are not perfectly aligned, if your head "warps" the whole head bows (either center lifts or center drops) and when this happens your cams will not be tight on the inner journals or outer journals which is gonna cause to much friction. Proper way to fix a warped head is to figure out where it is warped (center is bored up making center cam journals tight) then you need to have pressure applied to the center if the head and heat the head up.

As long as your straight edge is flat and you can measure correctly. This is actually the final step on all my race motors to get the surface ra perfect for the head gasket

Let me jump in here too. At 60 I've been machining and building engines for 45 years. Turning wrenches like 48( 12 when I started helping my uncle). And through the years I've run some super nice machines. And I've done some backyard stuff like this. And I try and stay in the machine shop with this stuff as much as possible. But we too have had to do what you had to do at times in the early days. This will work if you just take your time and keep checking yourself many will talk shit and down you. But at the end of the day you will be running and that's what counts... Plus half of them talking shit probably couldn't do it like this anyway. Because it's actually harder than turning on a machine and it does most of the work. Besides, what the hell does their opinion matter anyway right 😅?

Just the opposite is true! Getting out from under the 900lb gorilla of religion is more freeing than anything you’ve experienced. No more guilt over something you had no part of.
