Tiling my personal shower Niche with TileBar tile and Schluter Systems. Without a great way to tie the pattern together around the sides of the niche, I opted to cut a bunch of triangles, and do it this way. I love how it looks! #tile #construction #bluecollar #schlutersystems

What type of disk you have on the variable grinder?
Nathan, Your doing a great job! The voice over is awesome and I love those scribed cuts you made in the niche! ❤
Nice! Are you left handed? That’s just how I do it :) great video!
How long did it take the two of you to finish that edge wall, subtracting the time you took to film the video?
Good stuff bro!
Hey man, can you please tell me how did you install mosaic over the ditra heat because they don’t warranty it? Did your skim of heat and cover it with pink skin?
nice cuts brother. Im om epoxy exploration myself.
You are a true master of this technique
Thank you for the great video. Unfortunately, I am past the point of return on my first miter of job. Thankfully, the home owner is pretty chill. It has definitely been a learning experience and watching.Your videos will help immensely in the future. Next time I should probably read the instructions before doing the install.😂😂😂
Would you mind sharing what brand and type of wet tile saw is that?
unexpected spiritual awakening there at the end 😵💫..
When do you start cutting it after it dries? I just bought this epoxy to try also n it's my first time alson
After i clean all the tiles. No Thin set remaining, I 'seal' the tile with 511 Impregnator before apply the grout.
Awsome 😎
Hell yeah!!
Hi there new to your channel, I'm in Australia sunny Gold Coast, about to embark on tiling our bathroom with a large format tile,my question is I like them horizontal and my partner thinks they should be vertical, are they meant to be laid a certain way ?

No, not technically speaking. That is a design and aesthetic decision.
Really helpful, but how about that chill background music, lovely.
Genius! Ty for the great idea!
Can you do this at my house😅
Looks great!!
great job! 👌 #tilebar
wow...a lot of info. Thanx. I am going to try it for the first time. I see it takes time to learn how to master the skill. Respect...
Clean finishes, Im digging the little triangles. Im redoing my shower now, send you a pic when shes all done
I love the silly things, keep it up, they make a difference. - Cleanest tile setter ever, 45 min showers. 🤣 Thanks for the collaboration, you are a true talent #tilebar
Bathroom looks great.
So just out of interest, why were you still using a metal bead under the corner angles given you mitered the cuts?
Great video 😊
Hi Nathan, if using these Aria vents (metal ones instead of plastic) do you know if, down the road, I need to clean the HVAC system by way of the vents themselves, can a vacuum hose be put down into the frame for the vent that is in the subfloor or are the louvers in the way of doing so? I assume the louvers do not come out from the frame? Thank you, great video! Best regards.
Bro that shower is so dialed. This was a super helpful video thank you so much.
There is an adjustment screw on the back of the DEWALT saw that will allow it to cut past a 45
Looks great. Great song too
Bro, this is hilarious! Sorry that some people out there have nothing better to do than criticize other people's hands. Way to rise above and put a funny video together.
Hey man the mortar and grout is poison to our hands, the mortar and grout suck the moisture right out of the hands and the dirty thinset water and grout water is bad to , I didn't wear gloves the first 10 years in the tile contracting business and after 10 years I started wearing nitrile gloves and it helps but unfortunately my hands are toast from installing tiles from the 10 years I didn't wear them.
🤣you made my day, thanks for the post!
Nice way to lose a few fingers lol
VERY hard to lose fingers with a tile blade even if you were trying to
I’ve started doing it in the last few years it’s as stressful as you said even after a while doing it. One tip I’d give you though is colour match a big batch for the entire job and just use hardener to only what you can work with.
Not what I'd go with.. but it looks cool...🤠😎
Work of art .. looks good
This is looking awesome Bud!!!
Good work man. I just finished my first tile job. It’s not completely perfect but I’m proud of myself for it. I guess by doing your own work, you notice every imperfection. On the plus side though, my wife loves it.
I don’t have a buffer. Is there another way to smooth out the edges after you cut ?
Yes, diamond buffing pads from Levelin or Titan diamond tools.
I mean, sanding blocks
@@NathanTilesTheWorldugh yeah I saw them. Just for the blocks they are stilll $20. I can’t use sandpaper? lol
Love the moccasins😊
😂
So true! What would we do without our bluetooth headphones? Looks great by the way.
Hi Nathan, did you use normal grout on the corners at the time ? I’m not at the level I could do mitered niches yet but that’s something I want to practice and offer later. Do you like epoxy better on the corners ? Thanks
czcams.com/video/1ZfgzUlDGLk/video.html I made a Tool to make this process way simpler.. It works really good !! I made it from a piece of plastic in the recyling bin...
did you have trouble with your epoxy changing color when it dried, or did it stay the same white...?
It discolored. I use TENAX now. Phenomenal product!
Nice but how do you grout the miter joints ? What do you do because no grout is going between those tiles for sure?
Good to see you again 😊
