Thank you for this very useful video. I'm verry old school and still use a MIDI controller keyboard (a Yamaha PF85 piano) and an outboard sound module (Roland SoundCanvas). I'm confused about how to connect these to the computer and get them recognised by Reaper. I would be most grateful for any advice. Many thanks indeed.

I often work with backing tracks that do not have a steady tempo. Is there a way to easily create a click track. I resort to inserting individual clicks aligned to the beats. That is a slow, laborious process.

If I render my song recorded in Reaper to an MP3, will I still be able to go back in Reaper and continue working on the song, or does rendering a song permantly lock in down as rendered or whatever it does? Thank you!

How are you able to hear the guitar when recording the vocal? Reaper version 7.09, Options, Settings, Audio, Device - only allows for 1 device. I can have my audio interface (Volt1) or I can have my External Headphones. Yes, I can record vocals, but I can't hear the backing tracks. There is no 'audio in / audio out'.
