I recently went out to harbor island from the after noon to sunset with a 1/4 cast master and I was getting distance and working it well but only 1 bass when I was targeting mackeral. Any tips? I was there and just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get on some mackeral.

Coronado ferry landing from sunset to midnight off the side with the rocks there are so many corvina they boil like yellowtail. Almost every night on a good tide.

For sure right side of Harbor Island has been good. Caught hali, corvina, and mackerel using a kastmaster. Caught about 13 mackerel at embarcadero pier. I'll take it.

Drop shot white lure might be my #1 for the bay, closely followed by the kastmaster. Sand worm/blood worm still the cheat code for sure.

I’ve caught some massive bat rays at harbor island,they’re pretty fun to catch. I always use frozen mack because I haven’t caught one in years, but it’s never as good as fresh. Do you have any tips on catching them? Was that a lucky craft you were using? Thank you!

Did notice an oil film at Coronado Sunday morning. Didn’t keep anything, fishing has been a struggle there, HI has been better in the morning for me lately.
