@@georgearbuthnot727 the show comes off very cynical to me. A place where people weren't so burnt out making ends meet that they could have time to be themselves, and a millionaire like Carrie ridiculing it for that
@@oggjoshua I hear you, but for me the show doesn't have that super-cynical vibe. They mock some stuff--for example, lol, they mock rich entitled white people who pretend they're not--but I think they love a lot of things about Portland & are equal parts loving & affectionate along with critical. They use humour & hyperbole to reveal both the positives & negatives of their own community, selves & friends.
