Kodak 66 Model III + Sample Images
Today we will take a look at the Kodak 66 Model III made in England from 1958 until 1960. It's a 120 roll film camera taking 12 6cmX6cm images per roll.
It's a fun camera to use and the German Velio 75mm f4.5 lens is said to give good sharp images. This camera cost me £12.50 and is in very good working order........great value for the money.

I've used mine for colour transparencies, stopping down about half a stop from a meter reading, as the shutter speeds on a camera of this age will be almost certainly slower than the marked speeds. Results - very good indeed.

Thanks. I mainly shoot Black and White film I mainly use either Ilford FP4(iso125) or Ilford HP5(iso400) they give great results. cheaper alternatives would be either Kentmere 100 or 400 film or Fomapan 100 or 400 film. If I was to choose a film to shoot first with Kentmere 100 to get a feel for the camera and to see the results you get then try one of the Ilford films. Good luck..

Thank for detail explanation. May be it is worthy to mention that the frame line of viewfinder is shifting horizontally when turning the focus lever, thus parallax corrected. Also to actuate the self-timer, you do not need to turn the shutter to T-mode.

Despite it's apparent shortcomings, these are excellent cameras. What makes it worth having is if it's fitted with a standard 50mm Canon lens, as they are simply excellent. Despite having far more sophisticated cameras, I love the sheer simplicity of frame, (manual) focus and shoot with the Canon T50. It's nice to forget all the ritual of adjusting aperture, speed, ev compensation etc. The only thing I don't like is the noisy auto wind which does indeed remind me of a point and shoot compact. My T50 with a 50mm f1.8 lens consistently produces great images, which is all that really matters. .
