Being juat a DIYer, I'm going to try to use the 16ga., which can fire 2.5 inch nails, avoiding the need for a framing gun. The 18ga. is limited to 2 inch nails, which is too short for 2x3 and 2x4 work. Great video. How did you get your wife to do the work while you film a video? 😊

This is still the most simple on YT in 2024! I plan on making a single bed frame and a simple couch/daybed! Best part is that it’s made to be assembled and disassembled! Perfect for apartment living if you’re on upper floors! Thank you Thank you!

It would have been helpful to see, close up, the mechanism that actually holds the Dewalt in place. Where the blades mount to the tool, how is that adhering to the rectangular piece on the holder. Is that point all that holds the milti tool in place or is there another attachment point near the grip of yhe multi tool?

We would like to have a 14" clearance from the floor to the bottom of the bed frame, this would require our leg height to be 17" instead of 11". Our plan is to use 4x4's for the legs. Should we be concerned about the integrity of the bed stability (will it be wobbly), knowing it's just the 4 bolts securing the legs.

Hi Sir Wow. I did not get French Cleats right until i saw your video To my surprise my Rigid 20lb circular saw hangs tight on the Wall cleats. This is by far my heaviest i hung on the cleat wall. . Thanks do much for sharing this

Has anybody tried 16ga nails in the 18ga gun. Maybe with modification it's possible?

I like the basic design. I think it was overkill on the slats. But some times over kill is nice. I think I would have ordered 2 by 4 by 10's for the slats. They may be a little more pricey but the waste would have been zero. Plus most stores will cut them for a fee if you can't transport them the way they are. Anyway, great video.

I need help with an unfinished mahogany door that got drenched with rain during delivery. The stains are dark. I am wanting it to be a dark walnut stain but am afraid the water stains will show thru. Could you possibly upload a video on how to repair and stain water stained wood? Love your videos.

I opened my wall just to see if there were pipes ect in there. Once I did, I felt so much air. Once I put backer board ect, will that seal the air leaks or do I need to do more to insulate the area?

No other video shows the slack part which can end up being pretty dangerous and/or breaking your car. Kudos. One further step I want to figure out for mine when I build it soon is to be able to unhook it sometimes so that it stays up when the garage is opened (ie when working in garage with it open) Idea is a hook where it ties to the garage that can be unhooked and attached to a stationary point or something instead.
