Could you not replace the spinning motors (with permanent magnets) with 6 electromagnets and create rotating fields top and bottom? Would be much easier to tune with same effect..

Wouldn't it be better to put the high voltage on the central disc? Wouldn't making the high voltage going to the discs with the magnets make them lose their magnetism due to the heat of the spark? Another thing is that if the two discs with the magnets rotated in the same direction and the central disc could also rotate, but in the opposite direction of the magnets, wouldn't it make the speed difference greater and the induction effect on the central aluminum plate increase, and thereby also increasing the chance of the equipment becoming sustained in the air?
