I don't think uranium needs to go to 200USD to have decent returns. But being in the best companies help.. Also; I think a balanced ETF should do ok. But you have to earn your returns by riding out the volatility until this bull is over.

Not 100% agree on his uranium thesis but I definitely like this guy and his views on the commodity market

you dont have to be a super bull to know where the price is going over the next few months/years. i liked some of his thoughts about other investments, but on uranium he talks partially bullshit....the uranium in sweden, okay cool - how long will it take to get it done? some of the mines take up to 12 years, that wont solve any problem in the neartime. the spotmarket can be easily manipulated by traders/institutionals, the price went down 7 dollars a day within a trade about 100.000! pounds only, absolute joke to take that as a reference. not mentioned a word about long term price going up every month this year - in 2024 there are so many uncoverd pounds for contracting and there is also a huge risk, that kazatomprom will turn their back to the west because of russian influence. the risk is also that some mines will have delays in production and i wont be surprised if the demand side will take a big step forward when there are some good results with the first smrs that will be used for powering data centers....in total: good will from warren irwin, but far away from being correct

If chart lines worked reliably to get better than 50% win rate, that could be converted into software for guaranteed riches. But that has not been done and even if it were, since the markets are competitive, all the people using that system would be fighting each other and all would lose.

This was one of the best Tom Luongo interviews of the past year, prompted by great questions! Tom is a scientist, from the generation where scientists with limited toolboxes of knowledge went out to solve and understand real world problems. In that world, (not the confirmation bias science we see today) "being wrong", was the default state. If one can really inculcate the ethos of "knowing they are wrong about most things", it can lead to great open-mindedness that can actually lead to seeing clearly and being right about some things. Balance sheet analysis, while once a very valid tool, does not mean a thing if you have created the most efficient ICE engine in the world and the government is mandating EVs. It is a sad state of affairs when domestic and global politics has such an undue sway on economics, but here we are. :(

Tom is a straight gangsta. he jumps on as many young and up and coming podcasts as he can, not just the bigger ones. That is over looked and extremely admirable.

The link to geopolitic and economic is very convoluted and abstract, it seem more appart subjects. It lack thereof
