I used the ones that came with it, but I took a file and filed a notch into the pole it comes with that allowed the bolts to fit. I believe @yakgadget has a mount for this now that wasn’t available with the earlier ones when they first launched it. I am not sure how you go about getting it though or if it is something you have to purchase.

​@@The_Tennessee_Kayak_Angler I just went and got longer bolts and put it pretty tight it eventually bends the plastic to where it fits perfectly, how did you align the transducer with the arrow on top I found it crazy tough for some reason

I put it in the stowed position with the pole horizontal and parallel to the ground. Rotated it to have the transducer pointing straight up as best as possible and then looking down the shaft, lined the arrow up with the transducer. Once lined up I tightened it in place.

Exactly the same…I wear NRS Boundry Boots and KastKing Deflektor bibs and coat in the colder months

It is an awesome platform to fish from. The only thing I think would be awesome to see on it is the tracks on the gunnel running the length of the boat instead of just the four smaller sections. I wanted to mount my livescope pole on them but they are a little too far forward and back for it to be practical to be used from the seat.

No problem. I’m not sure about the winch stand. I pulled it off of an old jetski trailer I had been using previously.

Once you get a feel for it you can for the most part. I’ve watched catfish on 2D come up to my bait suspended off the bottom and take it and it’s pretty cool to see.

@alexrobertsfishing hahaha mine sat in the closet for almost a year and a half because the first time I took it out I crashed it into the water on Lake Murray…I had floating pool noodle thing on the legs of it so it was floating…as soon as I got it back I saw the screen was still showing the camera feed so I shut it down and put it in a bowl with rice over night and it worked fine…DJI Mini SE…built like a damn tank I guess lol

Depends on what you are wanting to do with it…I use a 5 for my chest cam and I think it works fine for that…got it pretty cheap on FB marketplace for $100…if you want to run a front one I’d get a 9 or above so you have the option to use the remote and also it is helpful having the front facing screen…it’s a fun aspect of all this to get into…initially I only started filming to be able to show my dad but got interested in the filming itself after a while

I have 2 new Hero 3 Blacks, used on one hunting trip when they first came out. I just didn't like how the edges make everything bend. LOL I'll look around for a 9 at a good price. Again thanks.

Yeah I am not crazy about it being there but I liked it less everywhere else I’ve tried it (by my seat and up front)…eventually I’d like to get NuCanoe’s scupper mount for it…my friend has one for his Unlimited and loves it

If i had my kayak modified this much, i'd feel exactly the same. I launch my pedal drive from a small trailer as well due to the weight, but have zero of the headaches this fellow seems to be trying to solve. Can I go as far as if i had power? no. can I get shallower without worrying? almost certainly. Do i have to register my boat? also no. When your yak looks like this, I just can't see a reason you don't have a jon boat or full size bass boat unless you're fishing a kayak only tourney circuit.
