Sick and tired of the “Lord” Patten. Democracy starts with demolishing your evil kingdom and empire. Britons never elected you to rule them. Hong Kong people never elected you to rule them. You represent Queen Elizabeth and currently King Charles. Democracy starts with demolishing your King and Queen, Lords, the kingdom, and the dictators in your kingdom. The kingdom ought to be demolished. You are responsible for fomenting separatist movement in Hong Kong. You are a liar and demagogue. You are responsible for corrupting the young minds of Hong Kong, the kids. You are responsible for the rioters burning down Hong Kong. You wanted Chinese to fight amongst each other. You are very vicious. You wanted to messed up China and Hong Kong because you the Lord and your Queen and King didn’t want to let go of the ill-got stolen property. You really didn’t want to give it up so soon. So, you want to mess it up for Hong Kong and China. You played dirty politics. Everywhere you go, you smear China. You are a bully in disguise. You are not virtuous. You have the last 150 years to make a democracy in Hong Kong, why didn’t you? Because you never wanted one for Hong Kong. You want to keep the ill-got gain for your benefits. Since you are the external minister, why didn’t you “free” all your stolen ill-gotten colonies around the world.

What a great series. Sadly, the comments here make me despair about people’s cognitive abilities: the issue isn’t Depp vs Amber - it’s how easily we are manipulated to think of someone as ‘evil’ just because someone has enough money to plant the idea on Twitter. It also explains a lot about why X now has become a useless tool of engagement - it’s full of hate spewing and divisive troll posts - the bots build the environment and the unhappy of the world follow it. It’s seeding a feeling of anger and helplessness in the world that is quite damaging. Also, bot farming and trolling is distorting politics. People are being conditioned to give up their power to people who have no interest in making decisions that benefit the broader population, but rather are interested in a greater concentration of. Money and power in the hands of the few. I am the most moderate of moderate people and it worries me every day.

Very hard to create a vision that a majority of the country could support without it being so simplistic (vote leave! Save the NHS! Or whetever) that it is JUST a slogan. Life and government are messy and complex and integrated in weirdly hard ways - resolving this wickedly hard stuff is going to be massively hard and will take time but no one in the 'meeja' or in the general public has patience or understanding.

This series just makes me think even more that the kids original stories could be true, and that they were coached and forced a week later to turn it onto Ella and Abraham, because the narrator of this series is such a naive brainwashed man that hinks the government and powers that be can never do anything wrong, and the police are really good at finding things out and the police are never corrupt, He lives in la la land, And this series just seems like such an obvious at tempt to make anyone That thinks bad of the establishment look like a crazy conspiracy theorist.

A major reason, why their “The Rest is Politics” podcast is so successful, lies in the obvious fact that Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart clearly do respect one another and, almost certainly, are genuinely friends. Furthermore, in every podcast they appear to be thinking along similar lines and to have largely similar views. However, I would like to see them dealing with, and discussing, a topic on which their views differ starkly. If we could see that, without its descending into focusing on the puerile points scoring and insults we see so often from within the House of Commons, and at Prime Ministers Questions in particular, hopefully this would serve as an example to those in Parliament, and public perception of politicians and their abilities might finally begin to change. As a guide to what I mean, the most interesting discussion, of which I can think (needless to say about leaving or remaining in what became the EC), was the BBC Panorama one in 1975 (on CZcams) between then Government colleagues Tony Benn and Roy Jenkins, and the later ones (now it seems not preserved) between Tony Benn and William Hague.

Jos tähän reagoidaan somessa, niin kaatakoon omaan kuppiinsa. Sillä mitä tapahtui oikeussalin ulkopuolella ei ole mitään tekemistä Johnnyn voiton kanssa.
