I think about Tupac and the Outlaws all the time! I was watching the Rolonda talkshow from the 90s and the episode was about Tupac's death, it aired a couple weeks after Tupac's murder. That shit was deep. A brother performed at the end of the episode he made a song dedicated to Tupac and named the song "Rap is Too Strong". 1996 was a special year, I miss the 90s.

With all love and respect, as your brother, a music enthusiast and a fan. BDK wasn't by any means trying to disrespect or belittle The Outlawz. He was simply recalling the events that had taken place many moons ago that involved Pac and The Fugees. This was way before The Outlawz had even made a name for themselves. Back then you were young boys in your mid to late teens. By this time BDK was already an OG, a Pioneer and everybody's favorite rapper including Pac's favorite. This is fact. The world didn't know you as they do today. Now you are Legendary but then you weren't and to be real Pac wasn't a legend back then either but he was aspiring and growing to become that. BDK is right up there with Rakim. We must let reason and logic overcome our egos. You have since come into your own and are no longer in anyone's shadow. Outlawz are now Legendary! Pac had his own style, and it worked, so it's not about Pac having to conform to another artist's format. Pac reflected exactly what he wanted to reflect in his work. The other thing about Pac was that his work showed a graph of improvement. The last message that I picked up from Pac's music was "Choose a better role model". It had me thinking that he was still alive.
