I bought this album 2012 in Budapest. Memories is an World hit !

That intro track is cinematic! Odd that it isn't better known. Someone back in the day had to have a brain for this level of quality on their shelf. I wonder if Steve Harris ever came across this gem.... I'm impressed to even imagine how much precision and time went into that album art. They didn't have Photoshop back then.

The music itself is great but the lyrics and concept of the album, especially all the edgy kids and "grown adults" that think trying to sell your soul away is cool are a bit of a turnoff from what is good prog.

This, Gotic - Escenes, and Locanda Delle Fate form a triumvirate of "beautiful prog" from equally beautiful Italy. Marvelous.

I remember my very beautiful mummy Patricia Anne whose parents were really royal yet estranged houses playing this album in evenings with a black candle+smokes ciggi*s.on her purple velvet sofa with matching curtains.x

I was enjoying this till around the 16:30 minute mark and _then_ I was a convert.

The "Leave It At That" bassline reminds me of Uriah Heep's "Lady in Black".

Quite surprised : - when I typed " Sacrifice " I thought it would take a few scrolls to find this ( or the track itself, which is what I wanted ) . After about a hundred vids of elton john and loads of other wankers, I got into the groove and refused to give up, I wanted to see how clever the robot was going to turn out to be. Alas, after about two hundred vids I couldn't go on, and added the name. This band seem to be supressed in some way, methinks.................................

WAY better than the album version IMO The intro and the haunting keyboard is just perfection.

I was onstage working for Mr.Alan White ofcourse. Next to Alan's left helping with his laptop. Circa rehersals were amazing too, even though i accidently knocked to the ground Jimmy's custum Les Paul...Stayed in tune. Love ya JImmy..

From the book "Seasons They Change" by Jeanette Leech: Decca decided they were going to be a tax loss. A huge consignment of LPs were sent to Ceylon despite that few people had record players. They were returned unsold and Decca charged the band freighting costs of £19,999 19s 11d. Which explains the rarity since no-one bought any!
