amazing teacher
The choice of the word "prophylactic" made me 1. Rethink the purpose of this word. 2. Subscribe. 3. Reminisce about "Leisure Suit Larry" and... thank you.
great thank you
awesome motif
I can’t stress enough how outstanding your channel is. Focusing more on ideas, instead of drilling and memorizing theory is really the beauty in chess. Thank you so much!
wonderfully helpful thank you! would be great to see a list of all the factors -- did you list them all e.g. king and rook activity, passers, reserve moves etc.
I will now and forever refer to my rooks as she! ❤
I thought she sounded more intelligent than Botez, Cramling and Levy. Just checked her rating: she is better.
Congratulations on your award for being a GM. Long overdue. Good luck in the future.
Thanks, great video.really instructive especially that 'reserve tempo'
Understand you are a new GM!
6:00 rook takes rook 0n c1, also leads to checkmate, after Qf2+, queen goes h1, Qf1 followed by opponent rook takes , then rook takes and checkmate here's the continuation, : Rxc1 Rxc1, Qf2+ Kh1, Qf1+ Rxf1, Rxf1#
I'm only 1850 lichess classical, and all of the positional play chessable courses are too difficult for me. I would love it if you would do one!
Another fantastic video. Thank you so much. The second example with the push was very instructive!
Pawn moves are like who you decide to marry?!😲
In chess planning is the most difficult skill and noone can teach it
Can't buy experiece and wisdom, thanks for sharing yours. Cheers🐳
GM here I come🎉🎉🎉
I saw rc4
But ye I wanted kb1 on ab2 but that probably loses. I saw the line with rb8 and I thought get I don't Wana lose the queen.
I love your style of teaching. How to THINK, not just memorizing moves. Thank you.
I know it's off topic but can we just appreciate how beautiful she is. Really admired her on full camera
I cast... *_Prophylaxis_*
This is advanced for me...just what I need😅
Great to have a chess video that makes you think!
profolactic move?? what's that mean?
Awesome! Thank you! New Subscriber here!
Thank you
This is the first video I've ever watched from you. I know who you are and your long distinguished record, but probably because your channel isn’t widely subscribed and also its relative early stages of life compared to other chess channels…just never got enough traction. Subscribed now and will catch up on your prior videos to gain instruction and learn from…cheers!
MS. Irina, There's no way I can possibly get to where you are and I've been asking for an autographed photo from any event you're in. It seems futile messaging on your varieties so I'll ask again here where you're more active..🙏 Luis Ayala 900 Fairview St SE Apt C4 Olympia Washington 98501 .. please..🙌🥰🎶🎵🎶💜
Excellent 👍🏻
beautiful lady explaining beautiful position
Engaging and illuminating, thank you.
Your mastery of the chessboard is truly remarkable, and it's matched only by your charisma and charm on screen. Your gameplay is a true reflection of your beauty, both inside and out. Keep dazzling us with your strategic brilliance and captivating presence!

Your videos are amazing
Could you use more examples from your own games?
thanks for all the videos, keep it up!!
As a beginner it's really hard to think positionally in general because the fruits of playing positionally take a long time to appear. Like doubling your opponents pawns for example it's takes awhile for them to become a true weakness (sometimes) in some cases they're actually pretty strong. The rook exchange sac isn't that confusing when you really see all the juicy dark squares but I like sacrificing, granted, it usually fails miserably but it's fun.
I am confused about prophylaxis and defences. For me g6 is a defending move. But It is not the main point, and It was a very helpful video! Thx!
Thanks for another strategy episode. Lots to learn!
"Fianchetto" is an Italian word: it is pronounced with a K sound (unlike if it was Spanish).
She is speaking English thus using the anglicised form of the word.
another awesome video - thank you!

I appreciate your instructive videos. You are really helpful!!!
g5 was very instructive!

I feel much more confident in rook endings now. Thanks!
When chess books assert that unhelpful phrase at the end of a line: “…and the rest is just a matter of technique,” this is that kind of technique. Great instructive example, thank you!
Thank you
