This south Florida band has done nothing but get bigger and bigger since their GMF appearance. Their set was amazing and I can't think of one person that wouldn't want to see them back for our tenth year anniversary. I enjoyed meeting the guys from MCH and getting to know them better after their set. This trio has a bright future ahead for sure and definitely puts the "Magic" in the "Magic City."

I met Peter once after a BRMC show in Dallas. I think he could tell we were nervous and he came up to us and started talking to me and my drummer. I guess he could tell we were in a band and asked us about it. I will never forget how friendly and cool he was. What a genuinely good dude.
He should have quit smoking by now. So should have I.
The background music is what sells it.

The crowd's a bit dead
You're being very generous. Worst crowd I've ever seen, and at a festival of all places. Genuinely never seen anything like it.
They'd been waiting for him to go on - he was 30 minutes late (or had burned that much set getting sound right). I think they were a bit polite - by the end of the set they were quite lively including the pockets of expats waving flags!
They all need to put their phones down for starters!!

1:29, what is under construction there? If memory serves me correctly it was a waste/storm water pumping area. I couldn't tell you how many times I've crossed the Coffee Pot bridge as a kid and then after returning to St. Pete for a few years. Used to walk from downtown up to Coffee Pot Blvd. and back through North Shore Park. Love that area!

I heard them perform this track in LA and man o man, I was pumped but all the little kids around me had no idea what significance this song has to the older generation. Bummer.

Peter Hayes has one of the most exciting live sounds I've ever heard. "get extra guitarists?... fuck that I'll loop it and play it all.." Easy to bin BRMC off as "fuzzy garage 3 chord meh" - Every over dubbed guitar and bass is killer. Most underrated guitar player of this Genre. much love ;)
there's absolutely no stability with Brian Jonestown Massacre these days. Anton has fired some long time members as of late.
Good point; meant in their promotion and output. But correct sobriety fixes some things but not all and he's always been pretty prolific.
He's been doing this for years. Not just recently. What's really fascinating is ever person that was once in this band went on to create something great after leaving the band.
