It'd be nice to see a comparison of the AT-X AICS chassis compared to these other high end chassis. The price is pretty competitive on them and they look nice and slim lined and super cool.
What color was that?
Jeez after 50 shots you never realized your mag latch was not adjusted correctly on any of these chassis and that you had to touch the mag each time to avoid cycling for nothing… this was painful to watch.
@@valeriehoule2249 why would I adjust the mag latch? Some of these chassis aren’t the easiest or fastest to adjust in that regard. That wasn’t the point of the video. And the point was accomplished regardless. Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to watch the rest of my videos!
Tight-tight-tight, Bruh... What to know why we couldn't get Geoballistics to work with the flat base bullets? Because the app had defaulted to MOA when my scope is MRAD, SMH!😂 tight-tight-tight .........
I just seen they are finally offering these in lefty now. It's been a while but I hink it just moved.....
Hi, what camera do U use with ZCO?
@@rethempthoor TRIGGERCAM
Love the Chad Heckler cameo in a video for a CHAD muzzle brake.
Waiting on that Vortex Gen3 scope comparo…
Agree with your dislikes
Been waiting for this review Just started my prs journey this year.....took third at the prs22 regional...so hooked... Shooting centerfire prs as well..
At least the G1 JAE709 had an adjustable mag collet what, 10 years ago? I’m really struggling to see how this chassis isn’t just charging more for less features than the competition. My launch JAE700 was only $1080usd too 😮
Welp we’ll all find out together. Gonna shoot it in a few matches the next few weeks and get a better idea of what all it has to offer.
Great video. This thing definitely seems cool and I wish them the best. The chassis/stock market for PRS is so saturated right now it's crazy and I'm not sure I see anything that's truly an improvement. I wish them the best and look forward to seeing them at matches!
It's a cool looking chassis. I do wish that the integral ARCA rail had R-Lock holes in it since I've grown very fond of that system. I think the ACC Elite has R-Lock slots built into its integral rail. Side note, any experience with the Manners LRH stock? I'd kind of like to get one for an NRL Hunter (and just a hunting) build.
Yup! Love the LRH. Had a back in black one. Great hunting stocks
@@Covertnoob5 Now just to try and find a place that has a BnA two stage Pro-X with gator shoe in stock. Seems like they're in high demand.
What is the interior dimensions of that?
Dumb question, but where to you carry your ammo? and in a book or a box?
I use both. I have several Cole tac ammo binders but lately have been using 100 round MTM boxes.
Rich is a superpower.
Hey Will! Do you have any thoughts on the Vision Pro chassis? Been eying it for a bit but haven’t seen anyone running one.
Will you do a review of your action maybe?
Yup I will!
BATFE is going to come down hard on that design. It's basically welded baffles. They shut down Sig Sauer, Lethal Eye, etc for a similar design.
There are tons of muzzle brakes on the market. The brake makes the gun louder. What are you getting at? It sounds like you're comparing a muzzle brake to a suppressor.
@@gilbertopadilla3611 Correct, and if you research past determinations from BATFE, brake designs that are similar to the CHAD have been dealt the heavy hand. Just because it is louder doesn't negate design criticism. For example, take a look at what they determined 3-4 weeks ago on a similar design muzzle brake. It also doesn't take a genius to look at the design of the CHAD and see the baffle design of the brake. In any case, I'm not a brake guy anyway... So suppressed shooting 99.999% for me unless I compete in a Commie state.
Look, at the end of the day, BATFE making such determinations is wrong and against all 2A values. Having built a few suppressors legally, I wouldn't risk dog shooters showing up to my door unnecessarily.
The error is the actual website describes the design, which is idiotic to me (note last sentence): The biggest difference being the CHAD isn’t a shell with inserts like the tmb. It’s six individually machined pieces laser welded into a single assembly, (like tubeless silencers).
@@NiteQwill_ Thanks for the info. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.
Cool video. A couple of things. It is great to have the scope cam on this - but it would have been ideal to swap out the brake to something different halfway through so as to have a direct comparison to something else. Secondly, there seems to be almost a small vibration at the end of the muzzle on some shots - almost like the CHAD is pushing and flexing the barrel downward and then it continues to vibrate very slightly. Lastly, in a similar vein, to me the reticle always moved upwards, yet on many occasions you can clearly see the barrel being pushed down. Any concerns regarding this potential flex?
I will be comparing to the area419 hellfire and APA G3 FB in the full review video. At what point are you seeing this flex? And at what point do you see be barrel being clearly pushed down? I guess timestamps would help address these concerns further.
@@Covertnoob5 Just looked at the video full screen and with .25 speed. I can't see the vibration - what I think I was seeing on the ipad was the rifle re-settleing which made it almost look like a vibration. Cool to watch in slow mo. Definitely keeps the rifle flat - you can see the barrel dip downwards (especially modified prone) as opposed to rising on many shots. After the rifle dips - very slightly - it rises then re settles. Looking forward to seeing it side by side on other brakes.
Nice Eva Unit 01 colors on your chassis.
Definitely looks like something that would get your dog shot
It's always a pleasure to see people shooting with the MPA Matrix Pro-II. I ordered one of these some time ago. Can you make a video of how satisfied you are with it so far? I've already seen your first video of it. Maybe a comparison with the other chassis you use.
Already working on it! Big chassis comparison video coming.
@@Covertnoob5 Thanks man for your work, I know making videos like this is a lot of work.
what color cerakote is that on the matrix pro 2?
Not cerakote. It’s anodized.
@@Covertnoob5 Oh, but what color is that? look similar to the cobalt gun candy that mpa used to offer
You’ll have to forgive me, but I hunt and shoot steal for fun at 500 and 1000 yards. I also reload my own ammunition. I typically use one of 4 cartilages. A 270 Win, 300 H&H, 338 Win Mag and a 375 H&H. I have never used a brake, and I pretty much hit everything I aim at. Why do you guys use brakes with pee-wee cartridges, using 20 pound rifles? Maybe you guys should be shooting pcp air rifles.
In a match we shoot 100-120 rounds a day. You’re not doing that with a 300 H&H without developing a flinch and beating yourself up for no reason. Off props I guarantee there’s 0 chance you’re seeing your trace and bullet impact at 4,5,600 yards with a 375 H&H to make corrections. We all mostly reload our ammo. There’s a big difference between shooting steel at the range with all day, no time limit, no props, no difficulty except when you’re ready to pull the trigger and what we do.
@falba1492 that’s a surprisingly ignorant comment…

Thanks for the content! Just starting to go down the rabbit hole of precision rifle. Ordered my first precision rifle from MPA, the Matrix Pro PMR in 6.5 CM, based on the recommendations of a few competitors and am currently deciding on glass. Deciding between ZCO 5-27, ATACR 7-35, or Razor Gen 3 6-36.
I have owned or still own all three of those. Of those 3 I would choose ZCO. I currently have two Tangent's and the Gen 3.
Mean while android users have been using usb C for 5+ years
21 minutes. I don't know about you guys, but the group of guys I shoot with, I am absolutely not going to go ask one of those guys to spin their knob
Keen to see a vid on the Chad brake you’ve been running
Your background theme sound ran me off after 2 minutes.
2k dollars is nothing. In Finland its 2.7k euros And the elite here is about 2-2.2k. I have the elite and really enjoying it, I find that a bag rider for the elite is moot. The bottom is flat and long enough for me at least
Yes, pineapple on pizza sometimes
Love the content! I'm an ACC Elite guy, but I definitely dig learning about the KRG and other stuff. I don't see many KRG chassis at matches here in the Northeast. Keep up the great work dude, your videos are always top tier. I look forward to seeing you at match one day!
Thanks man! Appreciate the support! Yea KRG is being underrated right now with the C4. I’ve got an ACC elite as well that’s on the review table.
@@Covertnoob5 I'm sure some of it is support. You don't see much krg stuff on prize tables out my way. Mdt is supporting almost everything out here.
Pineapple on pizza is a Canadian psyop.
The major put off with KRG is the nickle and dime approach they use. It is a huge pain in my ass. FYI, I totally posted that before realizing you even commented it on it.
I’ve used. XLR evolution, MPA BA comp, Foundation, Manners TCS, KRG whisky 3 Gen 6, and now ACC Gen 1. Out all of those my top 2 are the manners TCS and MDT ACC. I’d like to try a C4 and ACC elite someday. The C4 appears to be designed correctly for prs. For hunting I love the manners LRH
Had an LRH really liked it! The Elite and C4 are both really nice.
Of all the chassis you have used, which do you think is the highest quality and why? Can you make a comparison?
Comparison is already in the way stay tuned! :)
I always stay away from a chassis that you can’t change the grip on.
I'm pack shopping now you still running this or have you gone back to the phantom ?
Still running the fac track but the new ones took away the long side pockets that I like for tripod storage so I’d advise trying the OBI carry system. I also still really really like the R3 Upranger. I’ll have to do a new backpack video and I’ve got other packs I like too.
Compared to the Labradar the Garmin is next level. It has a 12-degree arc of acquisition which is far more forgiving than Labradar. It picks up suppressed as it is not sound activated. Power consumption is several hours and does not need an external battery. Someone on Snipershide opened his and the Li-ion battery is a standard Garmin dog collar 3.7V Li-ion with plug. It has automatic cut-out at 30min. Stores in FIT files on the device but the phone app automatically converts to CSV for exporting/emailing. Don't need an after-market rail attachment or grey Ops cover ($30) as it works perfectly with the supplied tripod - save your $$$. Plus if it is separate to the gun you're not subjecting it to unnecessary recoil, which according to other shooters it seems to handle just fine. Dropping it from the bench is not desirable but probably a non-issue. I store mine in an old Otterbox8000 but a Pelican Micro 1040 will fit it snugly with the tripod attached. The Pelican 1010 fits the radar only but hey, the tiny tripod does not need protection. To be honest all you really need to protect is the screen, and from it getting run over by a truck. It's IPX7 water rated which means waterproof to 1metre for 30min. Do I really need a waterproof case? Hmmm. An old sock or pencil case will do but.. that's lamb being dressed up as mutton. Pony-up for the Garmin, you won't be disappointed.
Hi I’ve just got the matrix pro chassis. Don’t know if this is of any interest but the MDT vertical adjust kit is a perfect fit for the MPA matrix / pro
Which kit is that?
MDT vertical adjust buttplate
@@richardmorgan7608 so you screw that buttplate into the MPA plate?
Vortex reminds me of the US Federal Government we're going to give you shitty puck purple color and we know you don't like it but we don't really care what you think, pretty much sums it up.
They have a black one.
un watchable
Wonder if they made any updates for the turrets on the current production model. Really thinking about going R3 over ZCO840... I can get it literally 2k less, but I really like the Tremor3... wish there was a Tremor 3 R3 for a couple hundred more...
They did. All new ones should come with upgraded turrets, but you can always send it in to get them adjusted. Last I checked it was like a week turn around. They also offer to remove the locking mechanism which is great. Love both the 840 and R3. Can’t go wrong either way.
Very good review.
