technically aespa (week 2) wasn't even the first kpop group to touch the coachella mainstage, it was 2ne1 (week 1) in courtesy of CL set, but then both aren't even invited officially by coachella, they were invited by 88rising who go the slot under the name Head In The Clouds Forever in 2022 featuring various asian acts with less than 10 minutes performance each, that's why their name nowhere to be seen on the official poster or schedules, in Blackpink case the were invited officially by coachella as a co-headliner in 2019 (week 1 & 2) and also as the first kpop act to Headline coachella in 2023 (week 1 & 2), the problem happen on twitter when SM trying to do media play by posting on aespa official saying aespa is the first kpop group to performed at the mainstage that makes their fans think aespa headlining the festival which later found out that aespa name wasn't even on the line-up poster
