@MarkCarp yeah, just like every thing els, gone are the days of a cheap days fishing! I bought a mix of hemp and particle mix for a tenner to see me on a mornings fishing on a wild water I've found holding specimen tench and carp 🤞🏻

thanks martin, that's how i see it too, if you go further down the canal into stoke on trent it's better for perch down that way but the northern end near chester isn't so good.

they really are a top bait mate, you've no excuse for blanking now😁

no mate they won't survive a cast like that. i have used them at range but only as a snowman hookbait with a fake chickpea on top, the fake chick pea helps absorb the cast. just a chickpea or two normal chick peas wouldn't be very good for range though.😉

hi cyril, once you've hooked the carp and you play it in, it will try and get away, carp will run, twist and turn and even roll over on your line to try and dislodge the hook, if the hook pulls out and they get away, that's a hook pull👍

@@MarkCarp oh yeaaaah I learned something else now. Never ever had a carp, just tiddlers in the canal but recently started fishing again at a local fishery recommended by a colleague. My first day I caught a bream that was the biggest fish of my life and now I'm aiming for carp 😋 thanks for the video and much thanks for the reply dude 🤘

they worked for me stephen, i used them on the river dee in chester and caught well with them👍

you can put oat flour in a basemix peter, not loads, just a couple of ounces as part of a balanced base mix👍

i see loads of them when i'm out fishing ady, they seem to be everywhere i go, my garden is a bit bare though, i've planted some native hawthorn to provide some cover but it will be a few years before it's grown enough.

not prepared this way john but you can make any particles pva friendly by putting them in heavily salted water, so it can be👍

use jungle formula or avon skin so soft mate, better still cover up, long trousers, a coat and a pair of muck boots to protect around your ankles, covering up is the best of all, if they can't get at you, they can't bite you😁 lol
