Honestly I think that Aemond's eye for an eye idea was righteous. He was bullied for years for not bonding with a dragon like his siblings and cousins. He fought with them when he finally got one. He lost his eye because of it, doing something to fit in and not get teased by his family. Then he was yelled at for being attacked by his cousin. When he told his cousin to get a pig he was just referring to the fact that his brother and cousins gave him a pig dressed as a dragon. All he wanted was revenge, to make his cousin understand his pain and embarrassment as a child. He regretted killing Lucerys which shows that he never wanted this to happen and only meant it as a simple act of revenge.

Daemon is a ruthless warrior. On the outside he seemes too cunning and prideful to ever put anyone before himself. But in truth, he fought for his brother's throne, and at the end of his life he fought for his wife/neice's throne. Even thought he might seem selfish, but his loyalty to his family comes before his flaws.

i mean get they’re targaryens so it’s not the incest that bothers me it’s the age difference that does. yes when they actually get together they’re consenting adults but daemon started being flirtatious towards her when she was 15/16 and he was in his mid 30s. i know that the show aged him down from the books so i don’t understand why they couldn’t make the age gap even smaller

Aemond is so badass and cool that it took four jealous and envious kids to match him in a fight. And he still kicked all of their asses easily with his awesome moves. His kid actor was so incredible and his grown up version is the perfect replacement for him!

I am in love with Aemond's character, he's complex with a gripping backstory. And the transitions were perfectly timed!
