Is it a thing if you do vibrato alternating from a half step ABOVE? Why below just curious

i figured out how to do vibrato after 1.5 years of learning how to sing and I never realized I was doing the 2nd and 3rd one the whole time😂. Thank you for making me realize this!

I don’t know if I’m putting them in wrong or what. I have the Quiet. I’ve tried all the sizes but it doesn’t reduce the noise level by very much. big waste of money. My foam ones worked a lot better.

Their description states the Experience reduces sound by 7 dB. Can you refer me to the 18db claim.

Wow.. Finally came across someone that can help and relate to me. After searching for so long you’re the first to actually talk about rapid throat vibrato. After trying to clear all throat tension for years, I now effortlessly produce rapid vibrato. I like to think of it as if my vocal cords smoothly vibrate now that there’s no tension. But anyway, it’s cool to have but it also sounds too heavy, if that makes sense. Like I think singers like Shawn Mendes or Leroy Sanchez use it, which honestly is exactly what I’m aiming for. I guess the problem I’m having is while the rapid vibrato is clearly there for me, the tone of it doesn’t sound as smooth/ or like ear catching as those talented artists out there.. any thoughts, or direction for me to help my practice? Also thank you for actually addressing this type of vibrato, it’s been frustrating when every other teacher only talks about diaphragm vibrato. Also thanks for replying to the comments to help people

Hi! I'm debating whether to get the Engage or the Experience one. I can get overwhelmed in classroom settings but I'd like to still hear my instructor/my friends talk. It'd be better if I didn't have to pull the pair out if I'd wanna talk to them too. I also get overwhelmed outside because of crowds and car noises. Which one should I get?

Do they help with cancelling out backgrounds noises when you’re having a 1 on 1 conversation or will it be hard of hearing anyone at all?

Maybe its a dumb question, but, if you buy and put the mute ring in the normal Experience ones, its exactly the same as Experience Pro? Or is any diference?

Not really liking any of those. When I started singing one of the things I realized is I have to really slow down my vibrato. Was very hard to do but probably the biggest improvement to my singing. Slower vibrato sounds much more silky (can’t think of another word to describe)

Not helpful. I need to see how they are inserted, not some guy's elbow, then the lip in his ear.

I guess maybe other people don't live with really loud snorers, or aren't as sensitive to noise as me (i'm autistic and have misophonia), but the loop earplugs don't even have comparable noise cancellation to even the cheapest of the cheap on amazon. Snoring specifically is usually at minimum around 40 db in sound, and a really loud snorer is going to be closer to 60 db. Even in another room I was constantly woken up. I think these noise cancelling plugs just got popular due to advertising over them being better than the other ones on the market. I think these are for people who want to be able to hear while also dampening noise. I think claming they are good for sleeping just isn't a true statement unless you aren't a super light sleeper, or sleeping kinda far away from the noise.

My whole life I've been doing diaphragm vibrato and it is no way near as nice as the half note one
