How do you attach the finished gnomes to the bottle stopper?

I’m a new fan from Florida and your videos have really inspired my new pottery hobby. I hope your health is good and you’re recovering well after all the surgeries. I do have a question: how do you glue the metal wine topper to the ceramic piece? Is there a special kind of glue, or just Superglue or Gorilla glue?

Hi Tiffany. You must have been a very good teacher, even if you do not have a degree in any of the ceramic arts,I have said this before your teaching shows through and because of this your students can talk and explain so well. And obviously are making great strides towards teaching themselves And others. these student are the teachers of the future and I will admit, (1) I watch to see how you make things and (2) the glazes that you use. As my club makes their own glazes it still gives me an insight as to which glazes to use. I make my own glazes and it is just so much as matching colours to go together. I do love all of your videos. Even though I do not use your glazes it does give my thoughts forward and this helps all potters. Thank you and all of your students

Does your slip get stinky after a week or so? Mine has. I’m new this, so I’m wondering if I’ve done something wrong just mixing leftover clay scraps in plain water in a lidded plastic cup. Any suggestions, or is the smell normal?

Look into platelet rich plasma for your shoulder, you can even get it after surgery to help with healing, ask your orthopedic if he does that procedure. Lots of sports players football, baseball players use it after injuries. We were also talking to a sports trainer last week and he said they make their baseball players drink lots of water after a soft tissue injury to help with healing. Unfortunately insurance doesn’t cover platelet rich plasma.

Look on the bright side of your diagnosis. If you were in Canada you wouldn't even have had an MRI by now. I blew my knee out in November. MRI booked in May. Consult with orthopedic surgeon not happening until July 23. You do not want Canada's socialized medicine system in the United States.

I had to have 3 discs replaced in my neck. It was without a doubt the best surgery I had. Give your self time heal.

I'm finally scheduled for right knee total replacement after 7 years of insurance blocking it because I wasn't 65 yrs old!! Our (USA) health system is so messed up.

So good to see you!!!! Because of you, I am making g gnomes and toppers to wine bottles, etc are a GREAT IDEA!!! THANK YOU❣ I am 77 and still going but it's not always easy😓 I am reduced to a Shimpo Aspire while standing,, and it is a humbling experience to say the least , no support for upper body!!! Any ideas you can share? Thank you once again and I look forward to your next video 🤗👍
