Hello alvaakemi2752, We have thought about doing a video for CSP but we have bin using Krita so much it went to the back of the Q. Som day for sure.

We use 2 M1 mac's. The M1 8-core book air 16gig and 512 ssd and the M1 mac mini same config.

Hello christianfilouler, Thank you for liking the video, the 2k version is definitely a good choice for a tablet they seam to be more pixel dens for the size. to answer if you can use gestures it would be no sadly but the keyboard shortcuts that can be used are a good alternative.

Hello Unndeadcat , CSP doesn't have a Linux os version so it really wont work, sadly , as for the tablet we do know it will work with krita using the open tablet drivers on lInux.

Hello miss_akii , It sounds like you are doing every thing right but in order to sync the micro you have to put it in pairing mode. There is a little button next to the S-D-K switch , hold it down and the flashing blue light will get supper fast thats how you know it is in pairing mode . Keep holding it down and in you're bluetooth setting on the iPad it should be visible. it will say under Other Devices 8BitDo Micro gamepad , select it and now it should connect after all that . the ipad wont see it unless the blue light is flashing rapidly on the micro. Hello Anakianaj , To be completely honest the XPpen totally surprised us. WE have several different tablets we love to use but the XPpen is now the favorite.

Hello PastelStarCookies , if you only see a brush stabilizer in the Tool Options Docker that means you have the brush selected in the tool bar. Select the little push pin symbol on the tool bar ( reference image tool) and see if ti changes if it dose it should say (Add/Select an image to show ) click on the plus symbol to add from files. Let ua know how it goes . hopefully it all works out . a little luck will go a long way.

Hi it might be the bluetooth connection ? recommend getting a Panda BT4.0 dongle. the dongle works with all our linux pc's. We hope this helps.

Hi RodriguezCarlitos-hd7ti , Ubuntu is still very good even Linux Mint is great . When it comes to Ubuntu just didn't like being forced to use snap packs. Kubuntu was really my favorite though . We are using ( POP os/Amd Cpu , Gpu) , ( Nobara 38 KDE (x11)/AMD Cpu,GPU ) , and ( Fidora 40 Gnome (Wayland)/AMD cpu , Nvidea GPU ) for testing. I think i wont to give Mint a try again.

Hello we haven't used an android tablet for krita so we wouldn't feel right recommending one . but you might want to look for Brad Colbow on youtube he has a great web sight that might help you out. Hope you find something good.

Hello DylanDurant-d2n, Ok both of the the tablets do not support touch screen features, like pinch to zoom and to finger rotate like the iPad has in procreate. The tablets will only work if connected to a computer sadly they will not work with an iPad . Controlling an insldistration, tilt and zoom and other shortcuts are dependent on the software that you would use. the shortcuts are keyboard imputes ore a handheld gamepad like an 8bitdo micro. The Huion comes with side buttons that you can program to do what you would like it to do the XPpen has a little keyboard that you can customize as well. we hope this helps if you have any other questions let us know.

I keep going back and forth between the two and now there is the new Artist Pro 19" that was just released. I will be working on an iMac with my Pen Display. I will watch your review again now. Also do you think the 16" displays are big enough as a first user? I design and screen print my own work on textiles and other surfaces. I would like to do larger screen prints eventually too on paper. Do you like the aspect ratio of the XP Pen here better than the Huion? I will check back to see if you have had a minute to reply. Are you going to be trying the 19" models? Larger than that might be too large for my space.

Hi charliesmith7162 , we have had problems in the past with drivers being really strange for the Huion. WE have M1 macs and actually use the original drivers (15.6.1.34 really OG) because sometimes it just wouldn't work . The update to mac os could be an issue if yo have time machine enabled try going to the prevues os , maybe that could help.

Hello dragodumi, We have and do use the tablet in Blender we never show it because we though it looked bad ,not very proficient with sculpting yet ,,, but it works really well . You can change the Key binding on the pen to zoom in and out and rotate it easy to modify also the mini keyboard it came with can be customized for blender .

DaVinci is really great with Nvidia cards on linux or use Nobara with an AMD gpu they have some great fix ups for Resolve .

Hello mavr1k440. Thank you for watching the video. The screen resolution of the Xppen is basically 1440p at 60hrtz with an inch added to the horizontal . In the real life or a non infomercial way the screen is very pixel dens and the colors are really good , It is a real recommendation this thing is our favorite tablet . The only downside is it gets warm, so its brightness is always set at 90 but it is still bright enough to work with as a daily driver. Thank you agin .

hello again i would like to make a correction pertaining to the XpPen artist pro 16 gen2 . The screen resolution of the XpPen is basically 1440 at 60hrtz with an inch aded to the vertical , not the horizontal. sorry for the flub.

As far as we know Gimp plug-ins are incompatible with Krita.

Hello pr1me840 , Dont worry it will be OK, We had so meany problems too in the beginning ,,, ok with the Tablet what we think it is is Drivers, changing to an older or different driver could help. The Huion app has to be on to make the tablet usable in art programs . also we have found that Krita 5.2.3 was a little buggy for us so we changed it to 5.2.2 and didn't have any problems after the change . We hope this helps, please let us know how its going . It will all work out its just gremlins and they will get board and leave soon enough. Thanks for reaching out to us.

I agree Tribbles are certainly more of a nuisance. I think there is an ensign still finding them i a jefferies tube , hopefully the Excelsior, but before Sulu was captain of course. Back down to this M class planet. Honestly CSP will not have more problems . WE used Clip Studio for years even so far as to say we used Manga Studio Pro for a decade at least. We are not a fan of the subscription plan model . Thay have great sales so keep an Eye out for one. We would recommend buying the Pro version at first and if you wont more features then upgrade to the Ex version. The upgrade is at a reduced price, really nice. It is a very good program .

​@@mosscharmly Haha, for some reason, I thought you might also be Trekkies. This made my morning. I'm currently messaging you from Beijing, China, where I live. I bought the Huion here. And it's been a challenge to figure out if it's the screen or the software. I can't speak Chinese, so explaining issues is a little bit difficult. Through broken communication, we got the touch screen to register. But I am not going to be able to explain Kritia to them. So, I'm thinking of buying CSP. But it sounds like they did the same as Adobe? That will piss me off. Ugh. Anyway, thank you for all the help. I really appreciate it.

Hello justaturky2890 , we hope we can help , first thing is some times the dockers get hidden behind other dockers , so check behind they might be there or on the task bare on the top of the window or you're screen and select window to revel a dropdown menu and go to workspaces and select default and then go to settings on the task bar and go dow to Dockers and select Pallets .
