MK Morrissey DG 9.4.24 CHEST BELT 1ST DOWN!
Mary Kate Morrissey gives an amazing performance on 9/4/24.
A personal highlight is hearing a rare full-chest belt on her first DOWN. She usually belts a very strong mix on that part, but on this performance, she clearly full-chest belted it. The volume difference from ME to DOWN was wild and echoed throughout the theater! You can hear her mic being quickly lowered for the 2nd BMD. It was a very thrilling moment that I'll never forget, and unfortunately doesn't translate well into a recording!

This is Betsy Wolfe's last performance of She Used to be Mine on Broadway on 01.09.18. It was a beautiful and extremely emotional performance. When the song ended, she was covered in tears and received a standing ovation that lasted for over a minute! She'll be truly missed as Jenna.

@@chrisjacobs7417 idina had really, REALLY bad technique back then. She's much better now with a fully recovered voice and good technique. Besides, this recording is after a 2 year rest. Doubt she'd do it so easily in front of people after 8 shows a week for 16 months

HANNAH CORNEAU should be the movie Elphaba! No hollywood actress can match her talent!
Hannah's voice is amazing. She did very well! But there's something about her voice that doesn't quite fit as Elphaba to me. Her voice is so incredibly unique and she is so talented. She is just not my favourite. It's my own personal opinion (so please don't take it as me saying she's bad because she's NOWHERE NEAR bad). She's great, and extremely beautiful, but not my favourite Elphie. I'm excited to see her future endeavors!

I AM SO HAPPY I GOT TO SEE HER IN TIME!! I saw her exactly one week before her final performance. It was absolutely breathtaking. I was speechless after her performance. She was my first Elphie, an Elphie that I’ll remember for ever and always. Hopefully she comes back and plays the role again! 💚💚💚
