Infinity Ward just needs to go back and make another WWII Call of Duty. No need to try to write complex stories and deep characters in hopes of creating a coherent narrative. The gas mask thing is a very very telling clue. CoD was the best mix of gunplay and immersion. A gas mask that "can be on but you only know it's on when you're in the gas" is a giant step away from players having to make interesting choices, AND players experiencing immersive experiences. Total fail and dark days ahead for CoD.

I agree that it makes the game overall less fun when you push out the casual players. What is a solution though. I feel like casual players don't just play one game but rather bounce from game to game. Wouldn't they naturally leave the game anyway regardless of constantly fighting more skilled players? What is the solution? I am not an amazing player but definitely the "sweatiest" in my group and it sucks for my friends who get crushed in some games.

NUKEJESUS explains EOMM/SBMM and everything miles better than this guy. He doesnt even talk about HIDDEN MMR. Also you provide no updates on the issue as it has been unfolding. Anybody wanting more insight should just go watch NukeJesus. He explains everything in great detail. Not releasing a 40 minute video that doesnt cover everything and is inherently wrong. How can you be a content creator for only cod and misinform the casuals that bad? Also judging from your gameplay, you're bad at the game it should be easier for you with an EOMM system. Yet everyone still complains. Why? The bad players will always complain because they suck. Even against other players who also suck. Do your job better.

They messed up when they gave us DMZ and then took it away. Everyone I know that plays COD loved DMZ and I’ve heard them all say they’ll never play Warzone BR or Resurgence again because they fell in love with the extraction shooters with DMZ. Then they took DMZ away and just lost all of those players. I’ll never play Warzone BR again. Zombies has me purchasing BO6, but I’ll never buy another bundle unless they announce the return of DMZ

They did the same with Caldera. They knew the casuals were all gone so they leaned in hard to please the sweats. They usually follow that up with an apology year for casuals like they did with MW2. But I doubt they do that with BO6.

Left Warzone along time ago now because of the skill gap issues. Just tike and time again getting wiped before even getting a shot off. I think Warzone 2 started in the right direction. Slower movement, removing loadouts, making custom weapons less of a staple to the game but as you say, the creators and streamers didn't like it so they panda to them rather that maybe listening to the positives

good players can not be good if there are no casual players in game(s).. why would a casual player stay in warzone/cod and play it if there is nothing for him there? and at the end even good players will drop cos there will be no casuals for them to "show how good they are", they will be left in lobbies full of same few good players and they would all be average in that environment.. why all streamers and sweats want to get in "easier lobbies"? what if there arent any??

I think WZ is in a great place right now. The gunplay, movement, and amount of game modes, map choices is better than it’s ever been. The reason everyone in these comments and the community as a whole is burnt out on the game is because COD’d SBMM. Is literally ruining the fun to be had in this game. The reason the servers feel laggy is because the SBMM is matching you to a bunch of other players who are as skilled as you or better every match even if half of them are half way across the globe as opposed to prioritizing ping / connection. If they let people match make on ping then you would be in a lobby with some good players some below average players and some sweats. It’s a BR. Survival of the fittest.

ive been wild obsessed with it.. over 120 hours since last week!!!

i also played the beta it was meh, i went to loot the tree doppleganger and fell through map without getting my rewards. so i turned it off. when it launched my buddy was like come play with me, so i did, and i am absolutely hooked. only gripe i have is a have to wait 4 days to progress to next level. This is only because we had to join a new server to get everyone in the same server.

I didn't enjoy it at all but I kept going back then at about the 8-10 hour mark it all clicked its a wonderful experience. Tomographic seems to be addicted to everything he plays if you believed his thumbnails :P

First I did not know you could turn on cross play, but of course you're not going to find lobbies, probably half the people don't know you can turn off crossplay, let alone Why would someone do that? They get to play with their friends, that's literally the whole point of this new Call of Duty. Is the play with a friend on other consoles? And if you're like, the only one or like a few people, you found a lobby with has crossplay turned off and then there you go, that's the only lobbies you're going to find aint going to put you in lobbies, where people are playing with other people. From another console. Know they're going to put you to the same lobbies, with the same people that put that setting on Or turned it off late? I mean, yes, that is a good experiment to actually see the player number, but that doesn't tell you. The player numbers either and honestly. Yeah, they really do need to get console player numbers because I'm getting tired of videos. I'm talking about all these dune charge, say the game is doing terrible. You know, the game probably Doing care really because no one plays on steam this game. They all moved over to battle net because they forced you in modern warfare, twenty nineteen n black ops 4

While I do agree that there shouldn’t be advantages for the better players bc that’ll only push cheating more (which is already an insane problem as is) it should actually make their game harder if anything. The highest skill gap fps’s are ALWAYS thee most played i.e. counter strike rainbow six valorant. Shit even Escape from Tarkovsky showed how much people need a higher skill gap. If Fortnite is the only example people can give for a lower skill gap then we are absolutely doomed (which actually the most that game was played, was with the building mechanics, so another high skill gap FPS to backup what I’m saying). I think over the years cod catered wayyy too much to casuals that the harder core players left and the cheaters stayed, which now has made the casuals leave. Now nobody wants to play it. They need to nerf aim assist to hell, kill off the cheaters, ACTUALLY balance the guns, and create a higher skill gap for better players or this game will die 1 month in GUARANTEED.

True, the more knowledge is tied to results in a game the more casuals are shit on by "dedicated" players. That s why it is close to impossible to start playing LOL these days, way too many champions you need to know how to play against etc. For a game to be casual friendly the mechanical aspect of the has to be like 80% of what determines the outcome and knowledge has to be less important. Take CSGO for example, you could easylie break into the top five ranks by only focusing on improving the mechanical aspect of the game. Aim and "A" "D" strafeing. Same with xdefiant mechanical skill is even more than 80% of the gameplay. In warzone besides all the knowledge points you mentioned it s very casual unfriendly because of the "bad" servers. With these low tickrates peekers advantage is the most powerfull mechanic in the game. But to use it you have to have close to perfect map knowledge.

I think opposite there really catering to noobs move t doesnt matter if your in a protected braket where no one is using movement, therefore if your a good player you get in cracked lobbys where it feels like your playing ranked in pubs and its just unplayable and stressful

COD is shooting themselves listening to these people that can't get real jobs. Between that and skill based hit registry, and the endless amount of cheaters, this game is done and hopefully BO6 is a big flop but I'm sure the basement dwellers will keep them in business.
