Thank you I really appreciate that, and no worries about the other comment, I don't mind at all. I think the more quality content on this game the better as I'm gussing there's nobody on CZcams making money from covering this game so it's all from enjoyment. I would say if you think you'll get some enjoyment out of making videos then go for it, most of my IRL friends aren't as into games as me so I only have had a few people that I can really talk in depth about games to so having this channel where everyone shares the same interest in this game has been a cool experince that I don't normally get. It's also a good time to make content on this game to have something established before the full release. Not necessarily but it is probably the most consistently strong build. I've had some builds where my added damage number was below 30 but was still able to melt the boss, kinda just depends on your setup

Oh I'm not sure if I corrected my thought process in the video or not. You're right I was counting crit chance but anything over 100% is added to your crit damage multiplier so I think I had like 260% crit chance meaning 160% was added to damage

You know I was playing a custom challenge with a friend and I had balors eye and a grandious shaping in the sandman shop in chapter 1 and was thinking that's the most ideal setup for devourer, seems like a crazy build once you get the charges

Yeah in a lot of these I end up focusing my rerolls more on talents but some games I don't record I just take whatever and get some suprisingly good builds from magical objects

Pied Piper - go for freezing trap + chorus + low notes + special charges/cooldown. Here's an example - czcams.com/video/R2QWr5wwQdY/video.html Beowulf - I find him more challenging in the update but try draconic binds + eruption + double shock + battle cry. It's not a boss melter but it's pretty safeSparkling shield is also really good for staggering the final bosses. Example - czcams.com/video/5b9RiXbCN4g/video.html Snow Queen - Vulnerble is really good so go rupture + hailstorm + shattering blast + frost surge + radiant crown + power charges/cooldown. Example - czcams.com/video/c_8rItsgjPo/video.html Melusine - I finder her special build to be the most consistent so go spring water + water communion + backwash + tidal wave + nightmare ichor. Does a bunch of stagger and can wipe out whole camps with one or two specials. Example - czcams.com/video/v0Ibtg6oMEc/video.html Geppetto - this his kinda hard if you're not comfortable with geppetto but dummy ball + magnetic hammer + flux capacitor + heart ties + horn of plenty + ogre blood. If you can keep your shield on you, you'll be able to hit all dummies at once which does a lot. Yeah murderous intent is one of her best abilities to me, helpful in almost every build of hers. And haha yeah I've thought about it, it's crazy how much of an impact it can still make even that late into a run

I probably will branch out with other games at some point, I think I'm just going to slow down on the daily runs and focus on some guides and other ideas (still going to put out runs though). I want to try and have all the character guides done before the 1.0 launch and after that I might look to cover some other games

Wow I really appreciate this comment, I think taking some time to work on guides and other interesting ideas and not focusing on getting a run out each day would be helpful for my long term with this, especially with less time to record and edit right now. I might look at doing some videos for other games but probably not until after the full release of ravenswatch, I think I'd want to get as many guides up to help new players coming to the game during that time. Yeah her gameplay style didn't really gel with me at first because by the time I was getting comfortable in one form it'd switch over to the other. Most people probably do this the other way around but I played a lot with shapeshifter first so that I could really learn both forms, then started taking the other starting talents.

one of her first 4 skills allows you to switch when you want between both forms, so you can technically JUST play her the whole run.......

Yeah that would be a really nice addition, sometimes key searching wastes a lot of time in a run

@@amousfrank9726 I'm a cumpulsive description reader, but I usually cram in all the information before playing... so I don't always connect to what it means in game. Reading and remembering are two different things... one of those, i'm good at...

@@amousfrank9726 I think it's mainly because the wolf's ability descriptions aren't available before starting a run and when I started this game they didn't have the setting to stop the clock while in a menu so it would waste your time to read them. I realized it did lifesteal but I guess I never saw the armor until this run

I know some other people think she's the best character in the game, it's interesting because I feel like I just started getting good with her in this update, early on I really struggled with the final bosses and getting them to stagger

@@positive4ce lol to be fair I have died to the final bosses on nightmare once on melusine, but that's just the downside of an attack build for her. She can get some crazy good damage, but her stagger and her self sustain are lacking lol. With attack builds, I think you are supposed to try to buff your special a considerable amount to make up for the lack of stagger with her attack

@@positive4ce hey just did another melusine attack/special build, and I think tail swipe is sneaky good. I didn't test it, but I think it's damage may actually scale off of the growth wave talent (wash ur wisp for big wisp) I'd be interested to test this in the future

Haha thank you! It's interesting because some people say she's the best character in the game, I'm starting to like her more but she was one that I had a hard time staggering the final boss with but I think I'm getting mroe consistent with her

its very easy to activate lol, just leave your wisp in front of you. backwash makes it even better

Woah I think I read it wrong the first time and thought it worked differently. (I have dyslexia so that happpens a lot). But I thought it was each time special hits an enemy the wisp gets a stack, I missed that the wisp was what had to get hit, thank you for this comment lol

I think I was just running out of time, I want to make sure I got all the red chests in the end of the second chapter incase they had an Ace of Spades to buff my damage so I did those instead of the quest

I'm in the same boat, firey slash with ring of dispel, multiple dashes, 5x eternal rose stacks, and attack damage is my favorite build to run with him, it lets you 1 - 2 shot most things in avalon

I'm going to try to get another one up tomorrow, been really busy with work recently

I've been the same way since the new update, I think he really struggles to stagger the final boss so you need to get a build that can help with that. I really like this type of attack build, firey slash is a great ability to help with damage and stagger. Sparkling shield is one of his best abilities to stagger the final boss, and I really like his power build. Double shock + eruption is probably his safest way to play against the final two bosses, I have another beowulf video called "Beowulf Power Hour" that demonstrates that build

Yeah I wish they added a legendary or cursed one that also buffs your attack speed, might be balanced that way because you couldn't stack it

That's really cool to know that it buffs the AoE, and yeah if they fix that in the final release then it'll be a really cool explosive fire build

Yeah draconic binds is the strongest in my opinion, the cooldown is a lot more important to me than every other starting talent. I like shield charge a bit because it can get you out of a lot of dangerous situations. Explosive fire it hit or miss for me, it's really good in the first chapter but seems to fall off a bit in the second/third chapters

Dragon flight is a lot worse until you get the level 10 upgrade but I like to take it when I have a really strong special or power build because it'll make them both buffed during your ultimate. On attack builds where I'm not as focused on power or special I'll take raging chain to deal with big groups or an elite

@@positive4ce I think special build raging chain It's better to use because When using special must get close to the enemy ,make raging chain easy to use and use Dragon flight close to the enemy It's hard to get hit too.

@@TaowKohn Yeah I agree, I prefer raging chain in most situations because it's more consistent and reliable

The latter of the two, all additional damage is going to be added to the base damage multiplier and that's why I normally like ogres blood over something like 20% more special damage if I'm not doing a special build, if it was multiplicative then I think the 20% damage buffs would start to get out of hand

No you're correct with that, a bit of an oversight on my end, normally I'll see something like that and take it but I missed it in this run

Yeah I would try this out, normally I don't like the low feel of playing beowulf but this was satisfying

Yeah I 100% agree, I think they should make it so you hope diamond double dreamshards but you loose some when you take damage or something like that. I will say doing this run is still pretty challenging even with all those items though, took quite a few attempts to get this one

Yeah balors eye is always a tough one for me, sometimes I think the spam of abilities to help stagger is better but sometimes you could just kill everything with one if you have balors eye, it could have worked with this one though
