Exactly! The other day I was at a department store looking for some lighter weight clothing. Except for some racks of scatter-shot clearance items, everything was winter coats and dresses! It's been in the high 70s and low 80s here!! LOL! By the way, I really like the look of your black jumpsuit that you've got on in the intro! Very flattering and the dark color looks good against you fair skin. Your red and white flowered halter dress looks excellent! When I saw it I immediately thought "Cruise"!! Until you said it had a few tiers I would never have noticed - it falls nicely and skims your body. The price is perfect and the dress is a real keeper! The black and white dress is very nice and I would style it with a black or white blazer or structured sweater. I like how you've styled it with your gray jacket. Just to break up the pattern a bit. It's kind of hard on the eyes. I can see it with some bright colored jewelry also. And a wide black belt (or a bright colored belt!) would be pretty and give you some added definition. It looks comfortable and a dress that can be styled for various seasons! A wide red belt and red earrings or necklace would be super at Christmas time!! The pleated skirt is especially nice. It's quite fancy and I think wearing a black plain top - possibly a low turtle neck - with some shiny jewelry would be very festive and quite pretty. It does fit you well and is complimentary to your figure. I think the length is perfect and adds more fanciness to it! I wouldn't recommend trying to dress it down just because of the sheen on the fabric really lends itself to something more formal. A shame the length isn't to your liking. The leopard print top is another excellent piece! You can easily dress that up or down - jeans and sneakers or dress pants and pumps. It's too bad the fit isn't right. I love your leopard print boots though! They are so cute!

I find the often different colour jeans fit differently, maybe due to the dying colour process? I wear few jeans but love my cord Lucy and Yak dungarees (although their sizing is chaotic!)❤ I love how there are different leg length options for your jeans! I am 5 foot 4 and a bit so not tall tall but i am all leg with little torso so my inside leg is 31 to 32 inches (my legs are different lengths thanks EDS and Scoliosis!), so standard range jeans are often quite short on me ❤

I like the haul but personally I find the pleated skirt not very flattering . I think on someone who is taller it might work. I'm 5ft 2 and the pleats would drown me out and make me look wider.

Susan another great haul, loved the dresses. The skirt was loveky shame about the length = not everyone is 5ft 10" such a shame no length options or just make a petite option - not easy to take up either, it did not nice apart from the length. ❤

Hi Susan , love everything but the blouse at the end , neckline would dry me crazy 🤪. I like the skirt , it suits you and is a gorgeous colour . ASDA also do similar skirts but can’t remember the price of them . Both dresses are lovely especially the black and white one . Much love 💐🫶🏻

Hellllo ooooo its my first time here.i love fnf. You have v similar tastes to me and i have a few of those items. Loved your haul. I also have the oyster skirt which i love and i noticed it is meant to be worn with the waistband in..so no waistband..hence the hanger staps on the outside and it has a bump at the back which sticks out if you have the band on show..i unpicked a couple of stitches and it now falls beautifully with the band on show and no detriment to the skirt. Because i wanted to show the band. I love the length x val

wow first dress is a bargain at £10, & you look very pretty in the dress, 2nd dress, absolutely a very good everyday useful dress , i'm not keen so much on the pleated skirt but maybe with a black top /polo neck top, & black heeled boots ? or a v neck top & denim jacket, ? enjoy having a play with options, excited to see what option you choose, i'm sure you will choose a great combo,x

Hi Susan. I love phase eight. I have only bought 1 dress from there for a wedding, it was gorgeous and I felt great in it. Everything looked good but I get what you mean about the weight 🙂

Not bought from Phase Eight for a while. You do worry about being too hot on a cruise but I have found that however hot it is outside the ship, it is always nice and cool inside and especially in the evenings. But that purple dress is one to save for the winter. Again the red dress is super for a cruise…..go on one where you get on at Southampton…….bottomless luggage allowance! The first thing I ever bought from Phase was a navy suit, amazing quality and lasted for years.x Liz

Hey sweetie. My CZcams is acting up so I could only scan through parts of this video so far but why couldn’t you keep these clothes? I think everything looks amazing and what I could hear of your comments you seemed happy with them. The dresses look beautiful! The blouse would go great left over leggings or if you think a bottom is too snug but I thought it looked even more pretty tucked in under the jacket like a suit! It was more figure forming and the tucked outfit was flattering and showed only and all of your best features. ❤

The first dress is quite lovely! I'd style it with a wide black belt to match your boots! It's really too bad you don't like the fabric. The bright red dress is an eye-catcher!! The skirt and the length are super. I like the detail in the back, too. The only thing I'm not especially fond of are the sleeves. They add too much bulk to your upper body and just aren't flattering in my opinion. If they weren't puffy and more sleek the dress would be perfect! That red color really compliments your complexion! Remember that when you pick another item out! :-) The white patterned shirt is nice and would be a great layer in the Winter. The blazer is unique and very cool looking. Buttoning it gives you some nice definition. You would have to have the sleeves altered but it would certainly be worth the cost (which wouldn't be a whole lot!). That blazer would be a great foundation piece for your wardrobe and could be worn as a casual item with jeans or over a dress or with a skirt as a more fancy look. I like the way it fits you and how it hangs ! I hope you have the sleeves altered and don't forego this pretty blazer!! Even though you don't have a high style life (who does??) doesn't mean you shouldn't have some quality pieces! Never sell yourself short! Invest in yourself!! An interesting haul, especially since I've never heard of any of these stores. I like seeing what other countries offer! Have a great week! Alyssa

Never heard of this brand Susan and far too pricey for my purse although I will add that you certainly got what you paid for . Such a shame the pieces were not suitable , that red dress in particular is stunning and made you look a million dollars. Susan another great try on. Phase Eight is one of my favourite brands and I have a few of their pieces mainly occasion or office wear rather every day casual outfits. The qua!ity and fabrics of their clothes never disappoints and although little on the prices side for that special occasion well worth the prices. That red dress was stunning on you as was the first dress. No so keen on the blouse or the jacket - nothing wrong with them at all just not to my taste - life would be boring if we all liked the same things ! ❤❤

I've heard of phase eight but didn't really take notice of their clothing as i thought either their sizes will be too small or they will be wanting the younger market, collarless jacket not had one since the early 90's,x

Your blue jump suit is wonderful! The color is super on you and it does have that beautiful sheen! With a pretty necklace and/or earrings and some low-heeled dressy shoes you'll knock 'em dead on the cruise!! 🙂 In the Fall you can wear a blazer or light sweater over it as well, with a small patterned scarf tied at the neck to get added usage out of it. I really like the jump suit and the price can't be beat. The white tee-shirt is step above the usual tee shirt and will make even a plain skirt or trousers look rather dressy. I do like the raised pattern on it also. The black flowered dress is also a good find! The flowers are small and delicate and aren't overpowering. It will be good in Fall and Winter with a bright necklace and a blazer and/or sweater. Finally!! You've found some jeans that fit and are the right length! (I know how hard it is to find that "sweet spot" when it comes to jeans.) They fit perfectly and you won't have to do any hemming. The color is slimming and looks chic! Even though I'm smaller, I still prefer a pant or skirt that has some stretch to it. Just more comfortable to do anything in! I think most people feel that way. This was a successful haul for you and if I were you, I'd go back to this brand when you are looking for other items to wear.
