I hate it when I see two really funny guys who are close, but they are both performers like this. It sucks because they usually have the other ones mannerisms - and society will always gravitate towards one and not the other, just because they fill the same job/billet. In most cases - friendships like this in hollywood only last when the lesser famous one is HUGELY humble, and god level grounded spiritually, to be mature enough to handle it. Most the time this only works when one of them is the 'writer' and the other is the 'act'. Or when one of them is the 'producer' and one of them is the 'actor/writer' and they share director stuff. The simple fact that you've read this much - and you know I'm talking about Shane and Matt even though I didn't mention any names up until this point... proves my point. This sucks, and I hate it. Its just something I've noticed being a comedy fan for over 40 years. I hate shoahbusiness but I love comedy, and it's just something unfortunate that I've noticed.
