Star Wars: Republic Commando - Intro
Star Wars: Republic Commando is a tactical first-person shooter video game, set in the Star Wars universe, released in 2005 and developed and published by LucasArts for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, and Mobile phone platforms. The game is set during the events of the Clone Wars that started at the climax of the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In the game, the player takes command of a Clone commando team, made up of elite Clone troopers. These Clone commandos have been specially bred at the clone factories on Kamino. The commando team travels to various locations in the Star Wars universe, including Kashyyyk, Geonosis, and the derelict spacecraft Prosecutor.

SHIT GAME ZZZZZZ
ZZZZZZZZ
They really don't make them like they used to.
here after Oleksandr Maiura's remake
Why does the music goes so hard?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
To this day, I say that Republic Commando was more hardcore and badass than a star wars game had any right to be. Best SW game of all time, ever, hands down, I will fight you on this.
Need this REMASTERED
2024 here
0:21 That sound! I heard it from a LEGO Star Wars game. 😂
I miss this era of star wars. Things felt more gritty and all these games and books really made it feel like it was a massive galaxy with millions of years of lore.
01-138? ... Luke (as Stormtrooper): "Prisoner transfer, from cellblock 1138?"
Crazy to think with only the small scenes that Boba Fett, had in the original trilogy his father, would be the key figure of the clone army.
This game has alot more going on than just what you see on the screen. Might look simple but this game has unbelievable amounts of depth in its spirit. Modern establishment at Disney would never allow something like this to come into fruition. This game and the books are more than Star Wars.
It’s almost a sin that this Masterpiece wasn’t remastered. Holy shit, someone just made some food downstairs that I haven’t smelled since I played this game at my abuelas with my little cousin. 😢❤
Let’s get an Imperial Commando game and a show 👇🏼
This game perfected the Star Wars universe.. God bless the dev team and everyone who worked on this project thank you.
The best era of Star Wars. The absolute peak of the franchise.
What are the clones with red clothes are called.. from beginning
Just introduced my friend to this game. He LOVED it and wants to come back for more!
It's a war crime that we never got a sequel and Disney kicked Republic Commando out of Star Wars canon.
We need a Disney + show following a group of clones after the age of the republic. Like a live action and they still have they’re armor and shit. Maybe they denied order 66 and are wanted
Honestly, Republic Commando deserves a remaster
the fact they never made a sequel shows their lack of connection
What I would give to see a brief episode of what it was like on Kamino when the clones were finally called to go to Geneosis.
I mean Bad Batch and Clone wars exists
I Played this gem again when I was stoned and this scene tripped me tf out.
It's kinda crazy how similar this game is to Halo Reach. Particularly with it's soundtrack, tone and the obvious fact you command a squad of highly advanced super soldiers.
Huh, I guess we look for different things in games. I've played both , and never occurred to me that they are similar. And even after seeing your comment, I still cannot see a similarity (except of course in the abstract way you mentioned, like tone, and that both games have a squad, which isn't enough for me to call them similar). A big factor might be that I really like star wars, and that game had pivotal influence on me and I played it when it came out (and I played it many times), but Halo Reach was something I played recently in the PC collection of Halo games, and just rushed through it so I can reach the newest Master Chief games , and it didn't make any significant impression on me.
I love 2:10 it makes it feel like a real war.
Did this intro inspired Doom helmet wearing animation?
This game was way ahead of it's time
Mandolorian fans after "The Mandalorian": "This is the way" True Mandolorian fans: "Vode An"
Scorch looks at Sev right when the kaminoian says the commandos will give up their lives.
As a kid the electric wiper blade on the helmet just immediately blew me away, I loved being able to see the inside of the helmet and how they incorporated it into the game by having it be your HUD as well.
This was one of my most favorite game in the star wars franchise.
This was when Commandos were augmented, enhanced, Super Soldiers. Now they just have cool armour. Thanks disney....
Loved this game. This was during the time before we had the Clone Wars series and so there was still a great deal of mystery and intrigue surrounding the Clones. Don't get me wrong, I love Clone Wars and the Bad Batch, but I do miss that time period when we didn't know so much about them and were craving more.
Why does the first minute feel more like a halo game. Am I the only one getting that vibe?
This game... Takes you in for a ride as soon as you press play... and it doesnt stop full sending until you reach the end.
KOTE! Kandosii sa ka'rota, Vode An! Coruscanta a'den mhi, Vode An!
"We expect great things from you" Nala se trying to be nice when she also calls troops products"
this intro is forever engrained in my memory from the day I first played it
Battle droids in clone wars: ez Battledroids in Republic commando: hell
The truly Clone Wars. Not the awful Clone Wars 3D. This show is garbage
Season 1 and 2? Sure, but it got much better later
@@OkIPullUp2915 3d clone wars obliterated the expanded universe
@@hideakiakio6698 kinda yea
Why the hek dont those disney idiots remake a new republic comando 2 . Second though it proberbly wont be good, it will be a social justice retarded game,
Because Star Wars is for kids silly, no one wants dark and violent Star Wars, here, have some Porgs instead! Tbf Jedi Fallen Order was nice
if only They would still keep that dark aspect of the clone wars, this was a perfect example of how dark it was especially Zero Hour on that damned planet, pure hell.
I hope they make this game canon in the bad batch
all I remember is the last mission was basically impossible. LIke roller droids were tough. and how in reality it was all for the mission. Game was amazing though.
I really wish there is a remastered version of this video game, a Star Wars story movie Based on the version of this video game
This just needs a complete remake from the ground up , with added content and even missions with new co-op feature to play with friends. Maybe tweak the story a little (not too much just enough if they want to change it for continuity purposes)
