Nicely done! Is the audio generated by MuseScore samples? Something about Marty's influence on D1's score made it a completely unique experience in gaming (for me, and I'm sure many others), and it's something that's been completely missing from the sequel. Music of the Spheres is still one of my favorite 'mix tapes' and although others are given credit for it by BUNGiE, it's clear that it's 99.999% Marty. BTW, it's TRIbulation, not TIRbulation. 🙂

Thanks, that is really kind of you. I'm nowhere near a master 😅 I have so much to learn. I like to use Musescore to transcribe what I hear. That makes it a bit easier to convert it to cubase
@@CatHarington I use the actual scores to my favorites (mostly James Horner) using Cubase and Cinematic Studios libraries. I'm still learning techniques and mixing. I've posted two videos on my channel so far and I'm 3/4's of the way finished with my third. Thanks for your reply!

amazing mockup as usual, the force theme was very well written with the different harmony. i love the vsts ur using, especially the strings and brass, CSS are on point!
I do love the piece! I noticed the tension in the chords, the kinda polyrythm and the separation in between instruments. Quite afew tracks in the end, but a lot of definition. Congrats !

Well, I gotta say! Color me impressed! Especially by ear and everything! Getting all those lil' intricate flute/piccolo parts most definitely wasn't easy! And surprisingly enough, you used all the same cinematic studio series stuff I used for that score too! So bravo utilizing the same tools!!! But seriously, superb work and can't wait to hear the Hogsmeade score next! I'm sure Peter Murray would greatly appreciate that! Keep composing!
Nice mockup! I haven't heard the original piece but I can tell how much work went into this mockup. Funny thing is, I'm 90 percent sure that the real soundtrack uses Cinematic Studio Brass.

What a great mockup! I'm curious about your approach to mixing the CS Series. Additionally, could you clarify if you used the regular patch or the con sordino emulation? They sound fantastic, and your programming is clearly top-notch.
Thank you 😅 I have much to learn. I used the build in con sordino from CSS which isn't really recorded con sordino but an EQ effect that emulates the sound of con sordino. I layered it with the solo strings on top. This gives more clarity. 👍
@@CatHarington thanks for your answer and thanks for clarification. I know that con sordino is just emulated in CSS. The question was if you used the sordino patch or not - sorry for the lack of clarity in my question. Did you do any special mixing?
@@DamjanPrvulovic I mean a little bit EQ, reverb, compressor here and there but not specifically for con sordino... So besides the solo strings layering there is nothing special

@@Andysmusicaljourney I don't really know your knowledge level but I definitely recommend you to learn music theory and orchestration. Look at the transcriptions from John Williams or Alan Silvestri how they are writing. What instruments play what part... That helped me a lot
