I had the opportunity to meet him in 2014 through a mutual friend i were stationed with in Germany. My friend called CSM Hill on the phone and told him that it was a few guys there for a reunion and that one was stationed with him. He dropped everything thing he was doing and came right over to meet us. He was very nice and kind. I’m quite sure the soldiers are missing him after his retirement.
