@@sianwarwick633 I agree that I’m quite scatterbrained but I definitely wouldn’t put all women into the same category. I know and learn from a lot of formidable women - I’m just a complete novice because I’ve never done it before, and that’s also okay. Everyone starts somewhere. Thanks for feedback on the edits - I’m still getting the hang of it so it’ll hopefully be a bit more slick with less time spent on showing mistakes in the future.

Thanks! I've given up on editing for a bit, but am storing up videos so the next one will probably be out in a couple of months. It's slow progress but fun figuring it all out! Trying to think of clever ways to put our musical instruments on the walls now. Thinking maybe a fold up keyboard shelf under the gunwales. Anyway, will keep you posted via videos!

Though I’m currently still living in a chaotic mass of wood and tools 😝 But it’s nice to be in the building stage of things now. I’ve bought a neon green paint for the outside, although I imagine that’ll happen next year at this rate haha!

Yes - we were looking into different ways of having the bed. In the end we wanted to make it more of a permanent storage space because we have so much stuff, so we’ve made an ottoman- style bed which is easy to lift up and access everything. We’re going to gain a bit of space at the front of the boat which will make things feel a bit less claustrophobic. I definitely like a bit of a cosy den for bedtime 😁

It’s not supposed to be on the floor 😂 It used to trail down the gunwales I think but we’ve just got everything everywhere at the moment! In fact, thinking about it, some of it did actually run along the top of the subfloor. Lots to change 😂

​@butterflymoonmusic no the best is either spray closed foam or kingspan plus aluminum tape to seal up any gaps but the gold basically bubble wrap you'll have major problems with there's no thermal effiency

The company you bought the gold basically bubble wrap won't have a thermal certificate plus with rockfall there is only certain types that don't basically suck up water it's a mind field but honestly the gold bubble insultantion is useless the gold foil detacts and is pretty useless and has no thermal installation at all its your choice but I've build boats for nearly 50 years and learnt the hard way wouldn't use and don't forget it's your health

We’re definitely using spray foam for the walls/ceiling but to be honest I’ve pulled up and put down the subfloor so many times now to repaint/derust/rearrange ballast that I don’t think I’ve got another round in me to swap out that gold stuff 🤣 Though I appreciate it’s not the best. I’ve triple layered it in the hope that it at least does something! You’re so right about the health thing as well. All these changes can make life so much easier/harder. We’ve had a few health run ins - I’ve got asthma so the multi fuel stove doesn’t help with that. But I think we’re gonna stick with that type of stove as we forage for a lot of wood so it’s cheaper. Just need to find a way to make it more efficient and draw better.

Yikes! I don’t know why, but the word termites send shivers down my spine. Oooh I bet it’s nice over in California though, despite the termites.

Weather here in North Sand Diego county over cast and 66 degrees now chance of rain in 2 days rain here is a very big deal most of the time is never happens . It's like any where else in the world not as it is advertised prices on everything are just sky rocketing . Have a great day stay safe.

For got about Termites they never go away cost about 3 grand to tent a 1400 squarer foot house . in most cases there back in 2 years Weve never tented as long as we have ants they love termites so chance we have ants in the attic and under the house we have access to the under the house most people kill the ants in the yard .I spry for termites not ant we never have ants in the house .
