Gestern waren Christoph und ich in Weinheim. Christoph machte mit dem Forza 700 nen kleinen Testflug. Der Forza fliegt wieder richtig perfekt.

Auch beim Helitreffen in Waldalgesheim hatte ich meinen Para mit dabei und konnte bei dem schönen Wetter einen Flug machen. Das starten ohne den Motorkäfig muss ich noch etwas üben. Deswegen trage ich zum Schutz immer noch einen Handschuh beim abwerfen. Aber es funktioniert schon recht gut. Ohne diesen Käfig ist er deutlich leiser ( angenehmes Motorgeräusch) und er geht deutlich besser in die T...

Ich hab nun doch den Motorkäfig abgeschraubt um etwas Gewicht zu sparen. Etwas Gewicht = 890gr. Jetzt kann ich ihn leichter transportieren und das Motorgeräusch ist sehr viel leiser geworden. Ich hab auch das Gefühl, dass es jetzt sehr viel einfacher ist, in thermik aufzusteigen.

Christoph kam heute ( 20.06.2021) nach Weinheim und flog den Forza 700 Speed. Es macht mir immer wieder Spaß ihm beim fliegen zuzuschauen. Der 700er ist echt ein richtiges Spaßgerät.

Heute war ich mal wieder auf dem Modellflugplatz des BPMV Mannheim und hatte meine Kontronik Hughes dabei. Es war ein sehr bockiger kalter Wind, aber die Hughes lies sich trotzdem sehr gut fliegen.

Die NG fliegt sich super, daher habe ich mir auch welche bestellt :D
da macht ein Hobbykollege einen Fehler und die Helden hinter der Tastatur wissen nichts besseres als sich lustig zu machen oder anderen ihre Fähigkeit abzusprechen. Schon traurig wie zynisch die Welt geworden. Tut mir leid um den schönen Jet.

Why not explain what happened for others to learn? Everyone crashes whether its pilot error or a component malfunction. Seemed like it was going fast enough to not be a stall. Kudos for posting it at all though.
He became disoriented with the vehicle orientation. He pitched it up thinking he would climb but he was upside down. From those distances you can't tell which way the vehicle is facing, up or down...

I dumb thumbed a brand new Extra on its second flight at very low altitude. The aircraft was way above my skill level at that time. With that said, people make mistakes and you learn from them, that's how life works! Hope he get back on the horse because I did not for a long time after my crash.

I think it’s safe to say that he wasn’t experienced enough for a jet like this. I think you should have to get certified to fly a jet this big wether it’s electric or not. They are big and dangerous
Naw...that's what good personal liability insurance is for. This is waaaay safer than driving to the event

@@jacklets3851 I've flown small .20 powered racers that do well over 100mph. They are small and don't weigh very much, but could still be lethal . Should I be certified to fly that too. Where do you draw the line? Any old Joe can walk in to a shop and buy a ready to fly plane or drone. In the wrong circumstnaces, all of them could be lethal. You just have to have some common sense. The guy in this video was obvously flying at an establishe RC flying field, and he was always flying away from any onlookers and over open ground. When it all went wrong, it was in an area devoid of people. Any responsible flyer will fly under similar conditions. It's the irresponsible ones who are likely to put others in danger, and it's that irresponsibility which means that they wouldn't be bothered to get certified if any such system was in place.

@@helifan1592 dazu gibt man einen Kreisel rein der dann wenn man Knüppel loslast alles auf "richtig" Geradeflug ändert, empfehle ich jeden Piloten der was schnelles fliegt.
Was für ein Startvorgang, niiiiemals in den Käfig beim Startvorgang rein fassen, ist lebensgefährlich!!! Leute macht das bloß nicht nach, wer das Video gesehen !!!
Hallo Wildflieger MK, Ich greife beim Startvorgang nicht von hinten in den Käfig. Bei dem Motorkäfig von Pankair (Cefics) ist extra ein Griff. so wird das abgeben sehr einfach. Mittlerweile fliege ich den Crossalps ohne diesen Motorkäfig. da ist die Gefahr um einiges höher, dass man die Finger in die Luftschraube bekommt.
He dumb thumbed that one. His fault and he knows it. When he was rolling during the turn he lost orientation and pulled elevator when it started to go down and he was actually inverted. Grey skies will get you if you are flying above your skill level. I’ve seen this at clubs too many times.

@AMJB1000000000 indeed they do. They cause cloaking where you cant tell which way is up or direction traveled. I never used to fly expensive aircraft on cloudy days. I’ve seen many good pilots lose planes like this. Just watch an aerobatic show on a cloudy day. You will lose the attitude of the plane when turning.
