"London at night", included in Peter and Gordon's 1967album "In London for tea", a Pop song that has been neglected for a long time, and one of the few Pop songs that can describe the scene of London, and it is also one of my favorite songs. The organizers of the 2012 London Olympics seem to have forgotten this song, which is a pity!

Funny, I remember The Smothers Brothers doing "Cat Ballou" for the Academy Awards.

They and the other Liverpool & Manchester groups that followed The Beatles deserve to have been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This is the Byrds, not Peter and Gordon. The heavy reverb disguises things a little. But the high harmony by "Peter" sounds very David Crosby. And notice the electric 12-string in the middle.. Gordon was a tremendous singer, one of the best! But this isn't Gordon + Peter.

Not a great act, Peter is not a good singer especially as his mother was a professor at the Guildhall School of Music (taught George Martin there), no one would have heard of them today but for the McCartney connection. Although he is a successful producer.
