I think it maybe his stream unless the chart is like that. I notice it sometimes when I stream.

@@Sleep1331 Scarry alerts. Looking at his screen in the video, I don't notice the slowdown effect. I think it's an issue with either the capture card or whatever software is combining the capture card footage with the camera feed.

wait you played with romanedge? was this in massachusetts? i played at Natick Mall, Lazerzone Marlborough, Acton Bowladrome, Tokyo Game Action (Rhode Island and MA), Good Times Somerville, Game Universe 2001-2009ish. Where did you play? edit: I played with Rob and Craig Stevens in some tournaments but I was bad back then, 2003ish at Good Times and Lazerzone. I played regularly with Brandon (BMH! or something like that for high scores), can’t remember too many others. I quit just after ITG2. Mostly played Natick Mall DDR and Lazerzone ITG2 for maybe a year.
yeah I remember all those guys, used to play at MIT, Lazer Zone, Game Underground, and TGA. I got TGA's DDR Extreme machine when they had their closing auction

I always wondered if you get high BPM, on some charts I get up to 205BPM. I’m usually at 180s for most charts.
I think this is the highest my HR ever reached, I'm usually around 160-170 for even the most strenuous charts

hey thanks! there isn't a way to transfer scores unfortunately, GP is kept separate from arcade

I don't think there was ever a way to do that for DDR, maybe for Sound Voltex though

That was🔥 I used to be a 17 footer couple years ago, Nowadays I'll be lucky to finish paranoia 180 on expert😂
I started with 5thMIX and a plastic pad on the PS1 at home, so I never had a bar while learning the game. Imagine my surprise when I started playing at the arcade and I saw some people playing entire songs while leaning on the bar lol DDR means something different to everybody who plays it. How a player uses the bar - or avoids using it - gives some insight into their mindset and what they most enjoy about the game. At the risk of generalizing and putting words in people's mouth, bar players see DDR more as a reaction game with the score being most important, whereas no-bar players see DDR as a dance simulation game with the immersion/style being most important. It's all valid, and it's all in the name of having fun with this game we love. Let's not disparage each other over how we each choose to enjoy DDR.

Quick questions how does the timing feel on Stepmania compared to a ddr cabinet? I just bought a ddr pad from a supernova 2 machine from Japan and I am wondering if I should just use ddr Grand Prix over Stepmania?
DDR/ITG players: there’s a practical limit to how fast crossovers can be in a chart meant for the public. Konami: I’mma pretend I didn’t hear that.
I still don't know why Konami won't rerate Endymion to 20. They have plenty of songs that could goll out the 20s folder by now!
