How does it compare to Laowa 25mm at 4x?
a lot better
Hey man, thanks for the schematic and PCB design. But I need to know that which voltage capacitor do you use and what is the watt of the resistors? Is it 1w or 1/4 watt ? Can you please upload a audio sample of the microphone?
Is this a video?
may i ask about the winding ?? how you winding a copper into a bobbin?? i mean how to separate the negative and positive pole?? Thank you
Use magnet wire. It has an insulation coat
@@lmatrix6626 i see, thanks a lot friend
Wow! I also do a lot of focus stacking with extreme macro equipment. Can you describe the process? How many finished stacked images do you need for that video? Which software do you use to create this video?
Thanks for idea. Have one of those capsules for around a year. Will try to built circuit for it.
excellent. Yes build it , it will be worthit
Nice set up! BTW do you sell this all setup?
Thanks, no I don't have plans to build and sell, this is just a prototype
was dangerous to put the cooler like that with no support from above, or did i miss it ? it could crack the die
I put a small spacer in between the cooler and psu, that supports the weight
super cool! so did you 3d print the tube??
No machined an aluminum pipe using lathe
Cool! You should get in touch with Allan Walls photography here on CZcams. He would love to see your macro rig. Just amazing!
There are so many used/abused Mitutoyo lenses out there with heavily worn down and scratched barrels - I'd definitely stay clear from any scratched barrel Mitu, there's almost always something wrong with them.
That's true. Better save some money for new optics
@@lmatrix6626 Or refurbished from a reputable dealer with warranty and return-policies available etc. It saves a few bucks and you'll still get an almost new one :)
Wow great. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Finally i saw a reall seismograph maker , thank you
thank you🤗
Nice!
You said you custom machined the tube. Would you be interested in taking an order for one? Do you have an IG account?
Nice macro photography!
Thanks
Your videos with these multiple stacks and rotation are very neat. But they must be time consuming :)
Very time consuming as these are composed totally from photos stacks at different dept of fields
This is so impressive please make more of these
I`m upgrading some stuff of this rig and will be doing some more videos soon.
What coins are those?

@@lmatrix6626 friend can you please explain to me, would I be able to use Infinite Plan lens 4x 10x on top of my Canon rf100mm macro lens via adapter, so I can use canons autofocus bracketing? I don't understand why you need 200 between lens and camera, I thought it's needed to have 160 on Plan 160 lenses. Thank you in advance. Greate work you are doing by the way, saw your flicker! Awesome
@@Promikes infinity objectives need one of these two options. 1. A tube lens like raynox dcr150 set at around 200mm from the sensor. Or 2. Coupling the objective lens just in front of a telephoto lens with focus set to infinity. Both will be fine.
Why do you use 150mm, sensor to flange of objective lens ? I thought these objectives were for 160mm, sensor to flange of objective lens ?
If I remember correctly 150mm gives a better image quality
Hi Liam, please help me if you can with some information. I can't find the CAPR508-381X254X584 470pF capacitor anywhere. Somehow the serial number is wrong, can you help me with some information or a link where I can buy it?
it is nothing special. it is just a normal 470pF capacitor . The case is not important. www.amazon.com/CAPACITOR-CERAMIC-470PF-1000V-RADIAL/dp/B007Z7NG48

0:16 are those on the bottom 3x 2axis joysticks?
Yes, joysticks Joystick 1 controls x and y axis Joystick 2 controls z axis and rotation Joystick 3 controls camera distance and stack position
The joystick are only used for manual movement, the controller is also designed to automatically operate the rig in several modes whiles shooting photos automatically. You can see more on this fb group facebook.com/groups/ExtremeMacro/permalink/5645513858805780/
@@lmatrix6626 nice, are they working reliable? I have another question: did you write the code completely non-blocking or did you use something like a for loop for the actual stacking? I am currently writing my code and want to write everything completely non-blocking but its really hard.
@@ipadize actually I was surprised how after a couple of initial runs and debugs everything worked flawlessly, it was a miracle 🙂 . Re programming i'm using an arduino due for the automation and 7 arduino nanos for manual control of motors using joysticks. Re auto mode I invented a protocol so that the main controller (a due) could communicate with an interface program that the user interacts with on a Windows machine. I built the interface in visual studio using c#. The flexibility planning for modes of automation built in it is something out of this world, I believe just the interface is about 1.5k lines of code.
@@ipadize re non blocking code. On the arduino side i'm using the 'delay' function in c++ to pause the motor between steps. This is a blocking function. As you know it can get quite overwhelming to program stepper motors using non blocking code such as timer function. However I believe it still can be done, the trick is to start simple when coding and build, test and expand from there.
What pcb software are you using

to the analog opamp feeder, at the exit from the geophone, put the clamps on a diode (resistor). What is that, how do I find it so I can buy it?
that is not a diode, it is just a small capacitor so that it filters out any hf noise. Basically it smoothens out a bit the output from geophone. size depends on geophone used, you have to try different values.
hello Liam! on the surface of the geophone where do you see crocodiles, can you tell me what that is? Is the arduino nano board an analog to digital conversion board?
Geophone feeds the opamp amplifier an analogue sig. Then the amplified analogue signal from opamp amplifier goes to the analogue input of the esp32

Hello Liam! Please be kind and tell me in which CAD program I can open the geophone sketch?
