lies i got the 360 copy on day one and had a bug free playthrough with the exception of corpse clipping in funny ways but that is present in the current titles to this day, you are falsely slandering a game based on your experience alone playing a shitty sony console

It's kinda crazy how many mods I run to re-add the cut content that I played and saw on launch. All the stuff at hoover dam that was removed (like the water jets and power lines), the wanderer npc outside of goodsprings, lots of little cluttery bits, making the freeside and strip cells each be one cell instead of two, and a bunch of empty space that was less empty and it's like 15 separate plugins for that cut content.

What I don't understand is how the hell did this random dude get it right? Like how did he know it was gonna involve the Institute and be in Boston? Something doesn't add up here. He must have secretly worked for Bethesda, and was leaking stuff and due to an NDA agreement, he pretended to be a random troll not a former employee leaking. There's no way he got all that stuff right on the nose, and then coincidentally the actual Fallout 4 timer came up right afterwards. I remember making this same argument back then, it's just too coincidental. If Bethesda announced Fallout 4 a year or so later, you could make the argument they read the troll's stuff and went "yknow what, Fallout in Boston isn't a bad idea, let's do it", but because the time frame is what it is, there is no possible way the "troll" coincidentally got the location and major involvement of the Institute in the game correct. I refuse to believe that.

Technically even if the ebay version is real its not actually a "physical" copy. It just a code that redeems it on the online service, then downloads via the online service.

I feel all of this. I played Fallout 3 for hundreds of hours and the thought of getting a brand new Fallout game was so exciting to me. I put the disc in and it glitched almost immediately with the doctor you meet in the beginning had his head spinning. I thought well that’s weird and then I went outside where giant rad scorpions rained from the heavens which proceeded to kill me. I turned off the game and didn’t turn it on again till I got a game of the year edition many years later.

I remember one play through Camp McCarren was just cursed. Going there would just result in infinite loading screens. So I sided with the Legion.

Hi. F:NV came out when I was 18, it released a few months after I had finished high school. It's been a long time since then although it doesn't feel like it sometimes. I pre-ordered it and pre-loaded (remember that?) it on Steam and played it on release. I had forgotten about this aspect - thank you for the video reminding me. Lots of memories from a very, very different time.
