I have that field piece sniffer, and an infinticon the infinticon is 1000x better. The field piece self zeros and just gives you a 1-100 "strength" reading. Infinticon actually give you a constant ppm reading. Lets you back sniff any leak. I have found leaks by patterning across store chasing the air flow when there are dozens of coolers. Habitually carry it on when working on other jobs. Just in case i run into a leak.
Really what model inficon?
@@D2DNYAC the Stratus. I started with the field piece but got frustrated with its self zeroing function really fast. I'm in commercial/rack refrigeration so getting beep beep beep while standing in middle of rows of coolers with 2 dozen or more evaps is very not helpful. Especially when it "zeros" itself and you lose the trail because chasing the breeze.
@@Jonathan-hx6oystratus better than the h-10 pro?
@@Mudo94 i can't say i haven't used h-10 as far as i know
@@Mudo94 H10 is the best heated diode refrigerant leak detecter on the market, it's main downside is the high cost of part replacement and lack of that flexible neck
Checks to see if the pilot ignited. Fought with one for weeks on our hot melt oven.
If the pilot doesnât get ignited the main valve wonât open and the pilot indicator light will stay off and the controller goes into alarm
@@D2DNYAC We had an issue where the "butterfly" was staying open and blowing out the pilot when we initiated the main valve. I didn't really fix the issue, I just dial down the temp on start up, that butterfly closes to "idle" and then I can start it. We use Honeywell controllers and were getting code 19 and I think it was 17 both a flame out iirc. The ovens we use are old, 1989 on the plate. Prior to working where I do now, I only had basic home experience. I've been watching a few of you content creators on YT and want to thank you for your channel. It really has helped me with diagnosing issues. Edit: the controller we use is the exact one in the video.
I want to learn HVAC, but there are those who say the learning period is 6 months, and there are those who say 2 years, and there are those who say 4 years, which is true?
To get up and going solo I would say 1 to 2 years however you never stop learning my friend
Dimple is for setting the concentric locking collar. Thanks for your videos. Very informative.
Dimple?
@@D2DNYAC the 3rd partially drilled hole on the locking collar.
No volume Irritating sound around Incomplete video Next time don't make such stupid video
I need a kkt tech
Where are you located?
That because the fans running the wrong way. Simple fix
Nope
The fan is spinning backwards because of air pulling through by the fan that's running and this fan is bad
Will this unit tells you of a transducer issue or the actual pressure readings?
Yes and yes
Wet switch wiring
Thanks for watching
What is blue staff?
Leak lock seals the threads
Just picked up a set this morning. Thanks for the video
Very nice
How are you liking them so far? Iâm considering getting them or the fieldpeice smans
And also, when you add 2 or more wireless sensors, does the thermostat then automatically take the average reading of those various sensors? or are there more options to setup how the thermostat reads the multiple sensors?
you have to go into setup a d set which remote temp sensor to use for control or averaging
can you add these wireless sensors to an existing thermostat that is already setup and functioning? or do you have to do a factory reset on the thermostat and start all over setting up the thermostat?
You can move them from thermostat to thermostat just disconnect device then do the link process for each sensor
How to get this tool
Buy it online
@@D2DNYAC have any link this not getting online
Thank you for the breakdown

What is the chiller model?
This isn't a chiller
Why is the compresor. Not on the right place you need to calibrate the bolts ⊠and also you didnât purge the lines before connecting the compressorâŠ
Thanks for sharing
Good idea
Ooh yeah
Please can you explain how to adress indoor units and how to check adress of indoors.thanks
By the rotary dial switches
That wouldn't be a bad idea in southern California either. đ

Does this require schooling to learn or can it be done simple enough for a DIY
Schooling
Or diy to a certain extent
Helpful .Thanks. questions. On the PUMY model citymulti can you exchange the controller (for the indoor unit) with one from another unit that is not in use?
Yes
Hi great video could you point me in the direction of the software? đ
Okay stay tuned I will upload a video on that

My Liebert DS unit like yours has the same alarm âcompressor overload 2â. The fuse #2 keeps blowing out. Avery time I start the unit and compressor #2 contactor closes the fuse blows out. If I manually push the compressor contactor the compressor runs and works fine. What do you think makes the fuse blow out all the time. Your help is really appreciated
Check contactor coils and liquid line solenoids coils
Wow. Youâre the best! I donât have words to thank you. It was the solenoid valve coil that was causing the short. I really appreciate your help.
Had to replace about 15 contacters todayâŠreally annoying how Lennox likes to overload them with wires. How expensive is it to put another relay in bro. Why does the compressor, cfm, crankcase heater, etc all need to be powered off 1 contacters. Every pole has atleast 5 freakin wires on it ON BOTH SIDES. WHY BRO I CANT GET MY SCREWDRIVER BACK THERE AND EVERYTHING IS WELDED TOGETHER FROM ARCING
đđ I feel your pain brother
Michael J Foxed himself.
M J foxed ?
How about mounting the contactor first then connecting stake ons and line/load
Not a bad idea
easier with a manual screw driver
Definitely

The tim pros kinda let me down... ive rocked them for 10+ years, and now i rock keen utility.
Really , how do you feel about Bruntâs?
@D2DNYAC I've never had a pair, but they're cheap. I'll stick with my Keens. Next pair, I might get Thorogoods.
@D2DNYAC I also should say, that my last pair of Timberland pros were purchased off of Amazon, so they might have been cheap knockoffs. đ€·ââïž
If I got both bad high and low pressure switches , is there a way to connect them altogether? Thanks
I donât understand what you are asking my friend
I got one I work on 20 compressors. Cooling tower and geothermal, plus does the domestic hot water. Really cool to see it cool and heat or vice versa at the same time.
None heatpump is correct? Heating is provided by condenser water, while the well water provides a constant heat load for the evaporator
I did lots of work on one practically brought it back to life 12 modules 24 circuits , which is really an amazing piece of engineering
