Dude sorry to hear that! I had 2 batteries that did that recently, I let them sit dead for several months and when I went to charge it, they would not turn on. I did some weird things like putting them into a block that held them in series and then charging them, one got hot so I do not recommend this, and also letting it go onto one of those little Apple old cube chargers. You want to find one that is not a smart circuit trying to communicate and just putting out the voltage. After a long time sitting on the charger they started to take a charge, now I’ve learned to never let them get below their minimum charge or you risk bricking them like any lithium battery. Maybe reaching out to PaleBlue they could give suggestions or warranty them, definitely don’t try what I did or you run risk of a lithium fire.

Happy to help! Just trialed to validate, in photo mode, if you switch the remote from “Dot” mode, past “2” mode down to the “Video” mode, nothing happens when you press the shutter button. It’s like putting the remote into lock for the shutter bottom, AF button still functions the same though.

@@PhilipBlank wow thanks for prompt reply! This is interesting, so in mode “2” it’s essentially holding down the shutter? This is actually useful to know, there are times the intervalometer 1 frame/sec is too slow, and this would be useful for some remote cam work at 3-5 fps on low continuous (if that makes sense). Have found shooting CRAW in this mode is nearly unlimited buffer, and very useful if you need 2nd cam shots of a specific highlight of event, while shooting tight on primary camera. Oh wow thank you, I’m just happy to help! But sorry if I caused confusion, as I showed in the video, you have to select the drive mode that shows a remote, so either of the last two options in the Drive Mode menu on the EOS R. “Dot” switch position on the remote functions as the instant shutter button in either of these remote drive modes, but the “2” mode uses either the 2 second or 10 second timer, based on the drive mode you selected. Sadly you can’t hold the shutter button on the remote in either mode to do continuous shoot, at least on this camera. You can only spam press the shutter button on the remote to get a shot about 1 every .5-1.5 seconds, there is some latency. Maybe on the newer cams you can run continuous shooting by holding it down but I am not aware. You can also use the remote for bulb mode to open and close the shutter for long frame photos. Hope that helps clarify!

Range is between 130 between 145 so nothing great that’s for sure, but was worse in this video based on how I was riding stop and go for filming haha. It just is a pain to keep trickling the fuel in once you’re close to the top.

That's the truth! Trucks can be nuts expensive. Really now a-days you pick your needs and set the budget. Everyone has better or worse on specifics, but thankfully there are so many options you can find the brand that has the exact specs for your needs. Personally have never needed an 8 ft bed, but I am a fan of the larger cap fuel tanks.

Depends on the state. For a it to be classified fully as car you can register it has to be 25 years old. But it can also be imported as an off-road/farm vehicle. This allows it to be used for off road use only, but in some states and counties you can then get it registered for road legal use. It has limitations such as no interstate usage, or State line crossing (pending the states) but this one rarely goes on the road anyways, it’s used primarily off road on private property.

Oh man! That’s a tough one it’s been so long. I don’t know off the top of my head right now, once I get back in town I’ll try to look at what anchors I used. In general, use the drill bit that is about the same size or slightly larger with this kind of press anchor so it can slide in but not be loose.

That, is a great question haha. Modern Range Rovers and great reliability are not typically in the same conversation. As far as complexity, this engine has a ton of it and that alone is risk for lack of reliability. The supercharger I believe is actually electronically controlled and not directly driven by the motor, so it can be boosted independent of RPM while the turbo still runs like a classic turbo. For now it’s been an increase of power and capability of what you can get out of the engine, and seems great on paper but I really can’t speak to how long or reliable the overall system is. I’d be shocked though if you can get the same milage out of one of these as the old V8 that just keep going, there is just so much that can fail. I’m sure there’s gotta be other companies doing this as well, really not sure but time will tell!

Now you’re running the Cummins that weighs significantly more up front, so unless Ram changed the coils for the extra weight, there is a chance your going to droop more on stock suspension so no guarantees you don’t have rub concerns on the front even with 35’s, just need to find you a good tire place who would let you do a fit-up and trial to test before going all in. Like all tires it can be trial and error.

I believe the 2024 Rebel has 13.3 ground clearance where the PW has 14.2 so the factory height is not the same, the Rebel is a bit more towing focused without the sway bar disconnect in the front.

Had never heard of this! So you’re saying you accidentally deleted your account while paired to the lock and now you can’t unpair it from a deleted account? Looks like they make it so it’d can’t be factory reset from the device for security, must be done through the app. Good to know though! Don’t buy or sell one of these without ensuring it’s been unlocked from the original account or it will be bricked.

Great question! I currently don’t know the exact details of everything that happens, but the ECU would monitor the conditions then would stop the fuel injectors and probably spark plug. To remove compression the values probably allow air through like you said, but I doubt anything on the cooling or mechanical side would change, everything inside is still linked. Sorry don’t have the exact detailed answer but could find out if you were looking for something very specific!

Got the info! So as I said, the ECU shuts off the fuel and ignition on the rear cylinder, but the valves are cam driven off the crank shaft through a belt so there is no way to mechanically stop those until people start putting solenoid controlled values like Koenigsegg’s Freevalve cam-less engines. So fresh air is sucked in with each downstroke, compressed, then exhausted based on the timing of the valves without any combustion making less heat and using no fuel. The coolant system is still running. The exhaust pipes connection from the front and rear cylinders are far enough away that there would be minimal negative back flow, and that doesn’t matter for performance at idle anyways.

It’s very close! I’ve got several of both Joby and DJI, in white and black. I’ll say the Joby have a red gasket around the ball head that wore out and will not hold up an iPhone 15 Pro unless very vertical. I’ve had them several years so they’re still good and would recommend, the DJI is just slightly higher quality and the one I pick before the Joby. Now I really don’t use either once I got a MagSafe stand for flights and travel.

Oh definitely I am not! Nor claim to be haha, I really wanted to like the Klipsch, I use their speakers throughout the house, but overall they just were a downgrade from the first gen AirPod Pros’s, tried the new Bose ones as well, returned those then upgraded to the second gen AirPod Pro’s getting memory foam tips for better noise isolation and have not looked back.

That’s a fair point! I tried doing both or an overlay in some of my earlier videos but never got any feedback that it was value added so I stopped, but I can easily go back to adding it! On a side note, I’m an engineer using metric for work and really dislike the imperial system as well, most people wish it would change but we put up with it because we can’t get much done in our joke of a political mess to fix it. Metric all the way!

Nope! If you have a flat base of concrete there is really not any creaking or noises I’ve noticed, actually makes the room more quiet with less echoing in my opinion.
