I may not know from a mother's perspective what it's like to lose a child to brain tumor, but I do understand from a sibling perspective. My brother was 5 years old and I was 8 at the time. I don't know how my parents were strong enough to continue. I admire them and you guys for being so strong. As a sibling it hurt and it was hard to understand. Wish my parents took us to therapy because the reality of death hit me so hard that I struggle with till this day.

So very sad but also confused as to why she keeps refering to ger as a teenager when she was 10. Thats quite a ways away from a teenager

As a former oncology nurse, when I see or hear other people complaining about the little things in life. I remind them, “somewhere there’s a parent fight for a child with cancer, someone who’s just lost a loved one….” Today, people complain about the silliest things and to hear the courage and bravery of these young mothers talking about their journeys should make everyone pause and appreciate every moment, even the minor inconveniences of life and use that time to stop and pray for these children and there families. Praying for a miracle for this beautiful Charlie and her family. 🙏💜

im 15 and had a total resection of a group four medulloblastoma in December. I also had posterior fossa syndrome. This story makes me so sad. No child should have to go through this. Realizing that I'm not alone with this, I'm fighting and fighting hard, and seeing this from a mothers perspective is so eye-opening

i am very grateful that my medical team immediately sent me in for an MRI. I've heard horror stories of how the doctors sent their kids back saying it was a virus. I went into my doctor around December 8th looking for the cause of my off balance walking and head pressure. My pediatrician immediately scheduled an MRI for the following week. I went in for the scan December 13th and i was complaining to my dad bc i didn't want to be late to school, and they took me back and i remember they had a mirror on the cage that goes over your head so i could see the ppl doing the scan, and there was atleast 5 ppl. They came in and grabbed me and told me to change and sit w my dad, i immediately knew smth wasn't right. I came out and my dad was sobbing and he told me "they found smth" it was a group 4 medulloblastoma. my life hasn't been normal since

What’s the name of her shop

I lost my son Emilio to this exact tumor year ago. He passed away on St. Patrick’s Day. One month before his birthday. To hear you guys speak and how similar things spiraled for us. Broke me yet gave me a peace of mind because there is much guilt we go through blaming ourselves. My son was so full of life always dancing and after his chemo 2 months after the cancer returned and took my sons light away. He couldn’t speak or walk 11 days in the hospital two days at home and just like that he was gone 💔 thank you for sharing these stories and spreading awareness. #EmilioForeverStrong ♥️🙏🏼🦖

I really hope that they find a cure for cancer. I lost a close love one from it so I can’t imagine my own child. Please continue to educate people on what they can do in order to help children with cancer. You two were amazing mothers and I’m sure your children were grateful that you guys were there every step of the way and never left their side.

I'm sorry for your loss. There's not much I can say to help the grieving you're going through because nothing really helps when a child passes. My son passed 4 months before his 6th birthday from a PNETumor cancer. I completely agree more change is needed. I was told by a rep at American cancer society point blank that a majority of funds go to breast cancer patients. And that just a tiny amount goes to brain cancer. Please don't think I'm not fully aware that any type of cancer is horrible. But, the money should be provided differently. Not only for research but to help the families that are affected.

YOU ARE THE BEST MOM IN THE WORLD. NEVER ALONE. SENDING ALL THE LOVE TO YOU AND FAMILY. MY HEART FEELS SO DEEP FOR YOU AND I HOPE ONE DAY YOU WILL HEAL FROM THIS WITH BABYGIRL GUIDING YOU AND LOVING YOU FOREVER IN YOUR HEART.
