Perfect - unlocking the secret! The allen key is 1/8" - good tight fit (3mm is a bit wobbly and may slip) needed a fair bit of persuasion + GT85 to get it to turn, but a great result after a hot day's fiddling with the whole OMC throttle/switch mechanism. Starts (like all these small jobs) with a bit of YouTubing to sort out a stiff throttle cable and ends up - like Malcolm in the Middle - with nearly a complete engine change!

Thx it just came to me to do the slo motion & Wow to see the gasses fire off above the tub & then wrap around it just Awesome:)

Since 2013, I've had my 2012 Giant Suede 9-Speed Comfort Bicycle equipped with a 2013 Golden Eagle Kit with a Honda GX35 4-Stroke like yours. I also opted for the Velocity Heavy Duty Front and Rear Wheels with the Rear threaded axle. I'm so glad I ordered an extra belt too before GEBE went out of business. I haven't needed that extra belt yet though. I also bought the highway drive gear and the trail drive gear. ✌🙂

You’re such a lifesaver! I’m remodeling a 2000 Lowe 160 with a 40 horse Johnson and I just could not figure out for the life of me how to remove the throttle. This is making things much easier for myself now. Thanks again brother!!
