This was such an infuriating issue I had and I've tried countless apps and methods. Only until I saw this video. Thanks a bunch mate, may your channel reaches 1 million subscribers. BTW; I was still not really able to do it without a 3rd party app. Windows disk manager couldn't shrink my D partition enough. I mean it was 416gb of disk space with only 160gb used but Windows warned me about unmovable files and only shrinked it to 320gb. So I performed a defrag even if I really didn't want to (defrag is not recommended for SSDs). But defrag also didn't help and problem continued. So I've downloaded Paragon Partition Manager and it actually did the job. After that, I've deleted the emptied partition just as you suggested and extended C partition (finally!). Moreover, silly Windows couldn't change my new partition letter. Warned me like "invalid parameter" or something. I've fixed that issue with Paragon as well. Now everything works perfectly fine and I have doubled my C partition size. Long story short: there is absolutely no way to perform this operation other than as you suggested. Windows is too infuriating and incompetent to handle it on its own.

I have pan but no cc statement name, is it safe to put pan no. in cc statement name as well? I am in India

But my PC is using healthy recovery partition and it will cause issues if i deleted it so please tell me how i can extend c drive without deleting healthy recovery partition

Thank you for this very knowledgeable video!Is it possible to just change Drive letters in order to move the drive closer? Also you deleted the recovery partition. Was there a way to move it somehow as well? Can you restore it back after all of the manipulations with drives? What data are there usually on those recovery drives? On my Lenovo there was no separate toggle labeled "Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts", but scrolling up and clicking on (and expanding) Windows Hello Fingerprint did make the "Remove" button of the "Windows Hello PIN" visible and functional, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
