sorry about the way of the gear ability, on the face of the die that shows uppercut...aren't all attack damage considered to be that done with the white dice? The attack in too many bones is given by the white dice...the ability dice are not considered attacks even if they do damage. Maybe the word atk should have been removed from that ability because it's so confusing

I have kinda an opposite take on localizations: I appreciate when bulky, narrative-heavy games are available in my language (granted the translation is good), but my English level would be less than half of what it is now if I haven’t had to go through video games and boardgames in English in my teen and young adult years. I think that being passionate about something gives you the willpower to go through learning / getting better at a foreign language and this is something I would suggest people to try

Seeing how you guys have grown as a company always makes me smile. You’ve been a class act since day 1, way back with the original Hoplo. In hindsight, there are so many games I wished I hadn’t purchased so I could have bought everything you’ve created. I have almost all of them but I’ve had to pass on the last few games just because I probably have more games than I can ever play. Of course, I’ll have to buy everything Elder Scrolls since that is a perfect merger for me.

Not sure how you’re basing the reaction to free shipping as a bit “meh” but I can assure you I was elated and was actually talking about how amazing it was to my wife the other day when watching the unboxing video. I think it’s possible it falls into the typical scenario where you won’t hear good feedback as much as negative. Negativity gets shouted more quickly than praise. That said, you’re not beholden to providing anything just because you did it previously. Shipping has always been getting worse everywhere. But I want to say I appreciate the gesture in the Elder Scrolls campaign And it’s not too expensive a game. Anyone complaining hasn’t experienced the care and love in your games, and is ignorant of other publishers and their games because I’ve spent more on less.

when you recall orbs with back up that says deal 2 to each baddies, if it was on a baddie before the recall, does this baddies take damage, or only those it will passes through

The only thing i dont like is how the small chips are loose in the container. You couldn’t even find the one you were looking for :p

Thise the valenwood wxpansion, and probably future expansion fits in the box?

Can all the contents from the Valenwood expansion fit into the main base box, or is it meant to always sit seperately in its own box?

Are Dice used when dealing with traps exhausted? Watching a red deck playthrough and the lady, demoing the game was not sure.

Thank you for sharing! Has it been decided how this game will be packaged? I backed the $70 Tanglewoods base game bundle with all 4 decks. Will everything fit in that big red ribbon, black box, with the big 20, that is pictured? Is only the red deck in the box and the other three shipped out of the box, but will still fit in the bigger box? I also want to compliment the artist on the charming Artwork! It will be wonderful to see everything on completion! Oh, one more thing, is it possible to mix and match the different minions, items, and heroes between the 3 decks? Meaning if I want to use Pinocchio, from the Gold deck and want to use the Red Deck Game and want to use only certain items and minions from each of the decks (making sure not to exceed the normal total of each type) would that game still work? Or are the cards designed to only work in their own color decks? (For example, you recently unlocked a stretch goal of using different foil edges to the cards to define their decks. Personally, I’d rather have them all the same so you could easily mix and match as I’m sure we would all have our favorite Heroes, Items and minions. I like the idea of removing duplicate minion cards and replacing them with unique minions from the other decks, so you never have the same encounter twice. It kind of takes away from the storybook aspect of the game when you repeat an encounter with someone you already defeated. Putting aside the foil edges though, would the mechanics still work intermixing them? Thanks!

Ty for sharing! I like the mechanics of this one the best. I’m confused with the white deck, as the play through was a bit fiddly. The red deck seems like a more advance version of this one, but still understandable. At the moment, following the dice rolls are hard because it is hard to see them on a cell phone, instead of a computer screen. I see the circles are misses, but the other faces look like a plus sign, so I can’t tell the difference between hits and crits. When you go thru the deck, do you shuffle the discard pile or leave it as it is stacked? I know you have been flipping some cards, so they have to be a certain way.

It didn't look like the pvc card boxes had enough room for the new Valenwood cards. Like the new items/quests. What do we think?

Hello. First of all, my most sincere congratulations for your work on this great game. I'm waiting for it in Spanish and I don't know if I'll be able to last until the first months of next 2025 to enjoy it. In the video you talk about a mobile application that helps guide the game process, but I didn't understand the name of the application very well. It sounds to me like you say something like "ded" or "daed" or something like that... could you clarify the exact name for me? I've looked for it in the play store and haven't found anything. Thank you very much and continue creating games like this. You are the best.

Should I back this for solo (and later maybe two handed?)? This would be my first CTG (I did just receive 20 Strong though, won’t be able to play u til August due to travel)

I'm a little leery of the decision to send the play mat folded. They will be on a boat in hot, humid temperatures, with a lot of weight on top for weeks. By the time we get the play mats, the neoprene will be stressed beyond repair. Beyond that, I'm looking forward to receiving my pledge.
