First off - excellent review. Interestingly, we are booked in exactly the same room type (actually 3 doors down on the same side), the same cruise itinerary, but in August. After booking the cruise I started reading comments on Cruise Critic, and there's a fair amount of negative feedback. Mostly complaining about the level of noise in public areas and "loud" decor, poor quality of food, long lines, poor service in the Lido buffet (i.e. difficulty in finding a clean table to sit at), inability to find quiet places, and the list goes on. I was almost ready to cancel this cruise and forfeit the deposit. Your video series on this cruise ship paints a much different picture. In some regards, I do think having an Ocean Suite takes an edge off of some of the issues (lines and waiting). As well, the food offerings viewed in the video seemed up to par. I'm not sure that we'll be that offended by the ship's decor, although it's does look quite gaudy. In any case, sending our appreciation for making these videos. You likely have contributed to our continuing on this cruise.

flew in a few months ago for a cruise took a taxi from the airport, and cost $100 (some people said they were charged $120) Google Maps says it takes 15 minutes, it took us 45-1hr during morning traffic, took the train back to the airport, took 25 mins and dropped you inside the airport. cost $17 per adult. about a 500m walk. don't get closer in a taxi

We did a similar itinerary but from Brissy on Quantum in Nov 2023. We had booked the Kuranda railway/Skyrail through the cruise line...the weather turned bad and they cancelled it! We stayed on the ship as Quantum is too big to dock in Cairns and the tenders where taking 30mins to get to Yorkey;s knob and then a 30 min bus ride from Yorkey's to Cairns! Nope! 🙂

Great video fellow Sth Aussie. We cruised from Sydney on Celebrity Edge in Feb 2024 and yes, had a balcony and yes did the "OMG that's the Opera House" thing too! lol

If you don't mind, what time did you go up the skyrail and back down on the train? Also did you get uber to skysail starting point? I know the ship leaves 330pm from Cairns the date we go so would love to know the times you did as we don't want to miss the boat doing our own thing. Thanks

What a big day of MK fun and relaxing at Grand Floridian. What an advantage staying delux and getting the evening magic hours. When I last went in 2015 all resort levels got this benefit. Def a shame they haven't gone back to offering that perk to all guests. That view from your room is stunning. I def could sit on that balcony watching the world pass by for hours.

Absolutely loved this vlog. I am definitely wanting to visit during Halloween months 1 year so can experience this party. Trick or treating is not big here in Australia, but it definitely was for my American husband growing up. Would love our daughter to experience it in tnis scale. The shows and parade looked spectacular. You captured them all from perfect locations.

What a lovely family tradition of golf at disney. Loved the cute trophy and congrats on your win this year. My goodness that room at the Grand Floridian is epic. I dont think i would want to leave it at all. Looks like u had an amazing refreshing time at Typhoon Lagoon. Def would love to visit there 1 trip in the future.

Space 220 has literally only really come to my radar during the last week or so. We are hoping to get a reservation for the lounge and try most of the food items from that menu. That blue drink def looked appealing to me also. Im def excited to go on the frozen ride for the first time.

Definitely a show/meal to do once. Although not sure I will be rushing back to do it too soon. Whenever i see it in vlogs the same jokes are still there with only an occasional different joke added. The cornbread was def the highlight for me.

Must have been nice getting abit of a sleep in this day. And very nice of u going to get everyone some Gideons while they were away shopping. Not sure I will like them,but def hoping to try them this upcoming trip. What an amazing and unhearc of wait time for RofR. Im very excited to experience it and to see what all the hype is about as I have avoided spoilers for it as much as possible all this time.

Im def thinking i am going to carry our thongs into the parks everyday for water rides and for the inevitable Florida rain. Your dinner meal looked stunning, like art.

I've never been to Universal Studios, but so many vlogs I've watched seem to encounter the same issues you guys did. I dont think it will be a park for me as I dont like thrill rides nor simulation rides. Def keen to experience the Hogwarts section though. We are actually visiting Universal Studios in Hollywood at the end of our December trip, in particular to experience the Mario land, so I am looking forward to experiencing that. I loved your interaction with Donkey and loved seeing the girls getting their groove on at the dance party. The locker situation here would def annoy me. Hopefully there was less rides down on your next day there.

Absolutely loved this vlog. HS is the park I'm most looking forward to experiencing as so much new areas since we visited in 2015. Despite never watching a Star Wars movie, im very excited to experience that land, especially the Rise of the Resistance ride as well as the blue/green milk. Not sure about Smugglers Ride as I get motion sickness, so might need to skip that 1. Im most looking forward to ride Slinky. I cant wait for that. Lara's tip is probably 1 of the best tips I've ever heard. I definitely would never have thought of that fantastic idea.

We def have a plan to visit the outlets to hopefully find some bargains. That room tour at Riviera was absolutely stunning and so huge. I can only imagine how many points it would need per night to stay there. All the food from Topilinoes (or however u spell it) looked sooooo yummy. Im def nervous about trying Guardians ride, again as Ive heard mixed reviews of it causing motion sickness. Might send my husband on first to ascertain whether I will be ok on it or not. Wow, the Epcot ball looks amazing at night with the beautiful colourful lights.

What a fun-filled day in AK. I am really looking forward to seeing the Pandora section for my first time. Although not sure I have enough courage to try Flight of Passage as I get bad motion sickness. But I feel I will have to try it at least once, maybe at the end of my day. Ive not been on a rapids type ride since the unfortunate accident at Dreamworld, so not sure I will be trying Kali Rapids either, especially after seeing that huge wave at the first drop. I have been seeing fantastic reviews about Tusker House character meals. But its not on our list for this upcoming trip. Where did u get the French toast sticks?, as they looked yummy.

What a fun day in MK. I def think Disney does the best ever parades. The costumes and details on the floats are sensational. It sounds like you have had many trips to disney before. What number trip was this for you? I already knew your food was from Columbia house as soon as I saw the green beans. Its definitely on our list to visit a couple times during our trip. My few times meeting Repunzal has always fun and she has been one of my favourite characters to meet.

I absolutely love love love finding another disney channel, especially from Australia. Im definitely hoping our travel day in November from Brisbane goes more smoothly than yours did. It's definitely a very long travel day at the best of times, let alone when mishaps happen to further delay things. We are also planning to visit Walmart on our travel day to stock up on some drinks and snacks. That pizza was absolutely appalling. Hopefully that was the worst item u encountered during your trip. I look forward to coming along on your magical adventure and seeing what fun you got up to.
