1995 Holden Rodeo TF 2.6 heater fan fix (unexpected)
A video fixing a 1995 Holden rodeo 2.6 heater fan and an unexpected fix - I knew the Fan itself worked so I tried installing a new speed regulator, after installing the heater fan speed regulator the heater fan still didn't work ( from the fan switch), when starting the car some time later the heater fan worked but only slowly (at this time I realized I had burned out a fuse, I inspected under the fuse box and I discovered two dirty electrical connectors, I cleaned them and its a fix for the Holden Rodeo heater fan, and an improvement in a few other areas of the cars performance including maybe better fuel pressure

    Add alum to speed it up or dextrine... to slow add some let or plasterer Lyme (hydrated Lyme but you should leave it to soak before you stir and apply to the wall it's basically old fashioned Lyme putty mostly used in wall art carving in situe or for casting ceiling roses, arcitraving, coving, dedos or picture rails in situe using a roller jig to apply to wall and carve whilst it's wet....milk is not good it creates mold spores in the wall coating same with urine which is disgusting practice no one ever did that unless they were a cowboy and vindictive little cnut never heard of lemon juice or citric acid being used but I guess it might work however it would no doubt cause mild spores to grow in time within the walls which is hazourdous to a person's health... I was in plastering for a long time and know quite a bit bout it traditionally we used sand and lyme to make backing plaster try it and see how much longer you can work with it as aposed to sand and cement you can work with it longer as it remains playable whilst it is being moved around if it stiffens a bit add some water to knock it back but be warned you must be careful as Lyme is highly corrosive wear gloves or coat your hands in baseline to prevent it being in prolonged contact with your skin other wise you might find it melting off your skin before you know it I know had a little accident screwing a floor with Lyme in the mix I didn't know till I'd finished went for a shower and found I'd melted all the skin off my knees from knealing on it whilst leaving the floor screed in a large 20' x 25' basement room it was bad the raw flesh was still reading high alkaline for 5 hours after hospital surgically scrubbed them and ran ice water on them constantly ... basically strong alkaline is same as strong acid it will burn through literally cooking tissue and flesh until it is neutralized and oh balance is normalised ...I hadn't noticed it had soaked through my cargo trousers and knee pads didn't feel any pain till I had took off my trousers and raw flesh was exposed to the air hence why I say be careful cause you may not notice any pain or damage till it's too late and the damage is already done

Just cut wired and pull thru hole in cover and lube up new cable cover and wires and pull thru, put connector back on new wires, assemble and done. Dont forget to set timing with timing light! • @1966human
      @1966human Před 5 měsíci

      It's like most things with driving You do your best be as safe as you can and you pay the fines you get, you weigh up the pros and cons of stopping a truck like load damage and stress on the truck, you drive as safe as possible, but if the light go's to amber you stop if able, a lot of light changes to amber happen right on the apex of being able to stop, you can't drive too slow because cars will bind around the truck, and you cant drive too fast for obvious reasons, I'm not a driver anymore.

    • @1966human
      @1966human Před 5 měsíci

      Correct, I hook the strap to the right side, I wrap the strap around the top of the barrel and turn the strap to the far side of the strap, I go up over the top of the barrel and hook onto the other side of the truck and tighten, it's actually real easy, the more the barrel shifts the more it is bound if the strap is tight, thump the strap on both sides when tight to check for possible future play in the strap and re tighten if necessary. you can also put another small pallet on top of the drum and put another strap over the top, I can't rely do it with one hand holding a camera and be productive, If the opportunity arises I will try to do a better video but I'm thinking this is better than nothing.

    I wonder why there are only a couple of videos on the entire CZcams world that attempted to prolong the utility of boots/shoes with Silicone... (That is a 100% Silicone product, right?) So that fix lasted +- 3 more months... Did the soles split apart again? And did you try to reapply the sealant once more or would that require removing the previously applied material? I've noticed Silicone is pretty tough to pull out after it's dry...

    • @1966human
      @1966human Před 6 měsíci

      Yes the only situation where the silicone fails is when I don't apply enough, it keeps the soles on and keeps running and working shoes waterproof and going for another life, I have fixed many pants and shoes and other things with silicone, the only thing it wont stand up to is a high pressure water gurney on work shoes, I even apply a layer of silicone on the inside of sox at the toe area and the heal to get good value, use disposable gloves
