For the flash malding bros: The best way to deal with flash is do a chunky low (like Jin DB4). or jab,df1 into quick low and then just wait. also after you win neutral, just wait. dont use the frames at first. dont prolong your turn as you usually would. Yoshis that rely on flash all use it as a brain dead panic button. this is why you dont see it as much in pro play where people play disciplined. the other thing you can do, this is for better players, is to master the dash/block and dash/jab as an aggression tool. just dashing into people correctly is extremely effective. Flash has become way better in this game bcs the system is forcing you into each other. moves have barely any whiff recovery compared to T7. Its made for mashers. and this design decision has made "rage art", "power crush" and "flash" so much better. its disgusting to deal with for beginners and many intermediate players even though they made this system to favor them.

One good buff for asuka b+4 from 15f to 14f for better interrupt some bad stuff

One of the reasons I dislike Leroy is that: they brought him on the animated tekken series on Netflix, which was very uneccessary. The series was based on the story line from tekken 3, so all characters that did exist during tekken 1-3 was there. And Leroy was there also without any reason?! The only character from later games that joined wtf?Like they tried to push people to acknowledge him or make him legit, without any purpose. And yes, he is boring asf ingame.

I agree with the flashiness. Just recently installed T8, and I've always mained with Paul since T3. The thing I feel could be better is his juggles. With most characters, stringing moves together to form a wall-to-wall juggle is possible. I have still to find a move set that can do this with Paul; even center-to-wall juggles does not look flashy enough until you hit heat engagers and such. It's getting a bit boring to play, that I'm seriously considering playing another character with more possible combos. The Karen haircut definitely does not help.

It’s sad how hard they came down on him with nerfs so quickly. A lot of the things he had that were a problem were just universal issues with the game like heat smash priority and the demon paws. Wish they would’ve handled character balance better, they rushed out a ton of changes that were unnecessary to a lot of characters. Unless something is downright broken there’s no need to nerf it into oblivion

I played King on a Tekken 3 arcade cabinet in a random pizza shop when I was visiting family when I was about 7 years old. When my brother and friends invited me to play Tekken 7, I saw him again and picked him. Then I played him in Tekken 8, however I didn't like playing Tekken, I liked playing King. Now, I'm grinding through the ranks, and I'm actually enjoying Tekken as a whole. People can hate me all they want, but King is the reason I play Tekken. That's my goat. The Beast Priest.

He's not that good, not that common, and not that easy to play IMO. People hate anything that's hard to read and I think his versatility irks people.

Im not saying they're OP but Reina and Hworang spam is quite dull especially because they actually have pretty diverse kits that go 70% unused. I'm usually in disbelief when a Hwo actually throws a punch or a Reina leads with something other than FF+2.

I think you picked the wrong move for jun. Demon slayer (f2, 1+2) is a great move but jun (and asuka) have 1 of the most busted moves in tekken history. D3+4 or can cans as its affectionately named is an i14 low, ch, unparryable launcher. Its only -6 on block and sure you can block the low and kill her but most people don't have the reflexes to do so.

How would you guys feel if the makers of tekken made a more realistic fighting game with no powers and stage hazards Like weapons and obstacles like pipes bottles toilet bowls and bystanders. I also take away juggles and ever character has custom block animation per character. I also have battle damage.

(( at high lvls it’s in the chip damage and the fast mobility of the chainsaws and the lockdown pressure that she does and they gimme-key moves For low levels … it’s most of her moves doing so much knockdown and leading into a follow-up combo, the jab combo that leads into a blow job that does knock down into follow up…. Her up leg sweep up ⬆️ that also comes down ⬇️ in case you missed the first one which leads into a knockdown follow up…. And. The one I hate the most that stupid air sweep that leads into so many follow-ups and just wins the match. I swear you could never tell when it’s coming out. It just comes out way too fast for us. Low levels to react to it there’s just not enough animation for us to realize it’s coming….😢💔

Alyssa is like 10 times worse and my opinion…. She has So much Range and Set up and most of her moves just Do Knock down and just follow up combo… she not Broken.. but she’s kinda Hard to deal with in my opinion… Victor owns the highs and mid moves but he Lacks the lows to even make any starter combos or any thing happen but only on counter, but even then that’s kind of the opponents fault for getting countered..

He has everything, absolutely, but they only use what works in most cases. I won't explain what and how to use in some cases, because the character is so vast that everyone can create their own style. The developers cut damage back in Tekken 7, and everyone eventually abandoned it. "Oh no, I played another character like Kazuya, and now it doesn't work, it's horrible!!!" Claudio main here 😅. I'm spilling the tea now cus I've been steady at 60% w/r. I think he's so rare people just do not understand him, but the secret is he's deceptively pokey and does extreme damage with few inputs.... U+4 is arguably the best launcher in the game, period. It's fast and has outrageous range. B+1 has silly range and he backs up in the process making retaliation an afterthought. B+3+4 can literally dodge a hit mid string and punish with 35 damage. ------ My second thought is that people seem to doubt that he's a poke character and back up trying to figure out what he does only to play into his kit and get launched or backhanded a million times... Anyways, to my other Claudio heroes I'm sorry but I had to share!
