Oh i missed a lot of highlights!! I will keep note of these places for hopefully next time I visit 🤞 thanks for the info! The park was beautiful! Really peaceful! Sad to hear you got robbed on the metro! I did hear Barcelona is bad for pickpockets 😭 so was super careful but it has happened to me before in other cities too! Hope the rest of your trip was worth it though despite being robbed lol

Thank you!! No they didn't hurt from rubbing or blisters or anything like that. I'd say not as comfy as a good pair of trainers but still fine for walking all day. I spent hours in mine with no real problems. They do take a few days to wear in though and definitely get comfier over time!

Amazing! The Peak District is beautiful. A few other places I've visited there from memory are: Castleton, Ladybower reservoir, Mam Tor and Stanage edge. Beautiful areas. Enjoy your trip!

They do! Just all this skiing was mainly on groomed slopes and it didn't snow too much the first week I was there!

Hey!! I mainly used the shuttles and just booked them online by myself (I think one of the companies I used was Caribe shuttle). The shuttle companies give info of where they will pick you up or for one of mine they actually dropped me at my hostel! It's the more expensive option but WAY easier. I used the public buses a few times too as they are cheaper obviously but to be honest I'd only recommend them for shorter journeys or arrive at the bus station over an hour before departure as you can't book them in advance! So if you arrive to the station and the bus is full you need to find an alternative route ( which was a bit stressful). Also was difficult to find bus timetables online so took a bit of research to know which bus to take and at what time etc. Have a great time !

Sadly no I didn't! Only Salento and Filandia in this area! I did fly into Armenia from Bogota though and ended up accidentally in the centre of town there... i didn't really like it from first impressions but don't really know as I was only there briefly! Manizales might be a bit prettier from what I've heard :) it is a beautiful region though and there is so much nature around! The weather in salento was sunny most mornings and rainy in the afternoons in January - I think it'll be similar in both Armenia and manizales

So exciting! Hope you have a lovely time! The first place we went to was called Antico caffe which was really yummy food (not the cheapest though!) we tried the local dish 'culurgiones' which is a stuffed pasta! Would definitely recommend trying those if you like pasta! I can't remember the other places we ate at sorry! 😭

I heard the locals just don’t wear shorts. They wear pants mostly. You probably only wear shorts during the short-lived summers where you are from or during vacation. As a tourist, of course, you want to wear shorts because you are on vacation, but as for the locals, I would imagine that at some point they would prefer to cover their skin from the elements (dirt, sun, pollution, dirt) for every-day living. Similar to why one would not wear flip-flops or open shoes all the time.

Also, it is a big city and not a small, coastal beach town.

@@ourwilliam2405 yeah you will! I think as the reply says above most of the locals are in jeans/long trousers and so to not stand out as a tourist it would be advised not to wear shorts. However the weather is usually really nice in Medellin so tourists do wear shorts etc around to enjoy the weather!
