According to this mod FEV was also Enclaves/ Unity super soldier programm and Vault 18 dweller was also part of it.And he/she became The Courier. Gdamnit. Game really was rigged from the start. So some of the Enclaves are doped & implanted super mutants like Frank and Venom/Carnage kind semimutants with cloning and healing capability ( well thats sounds too superior abilities). It would suit better that they are more like decaying ghouls which need power armour as life support system.

I constantly have this bug/crash. Game is unplayable for me.

The mission does tell you to use the Taunt ability. took me three times to time it right though.

Also if you feel like you are outnumbered vs hordes of enemies on any difficulty you can put a motion scanner near the arc and blow it up to cause the enemies to go there while they get shot down by the arc
