It can be challenging, but with a positive attitude you can still accomplish anything

Preston KKM-B hooks are better. Teflon coated. They are sharper than the T911's. They also have the out turned eye, so that the hook stays straight inline with the line. It doesn't kink off like they do in your tied hooks. Kudos for tying your own hair rig hooks by hand though. I have to use a modified hooktyer. Sausage fingers.
Always tied my own but I would struggle with them lovley nails

I find it far easier to buy ready made hook lengths . I've tried to do them myself .. id rather try open heart surgery less stress... How often do you use a cage feeder on commercials
A few weeks ago, I tried using a cage feeder on the big lake at Lindholme. However, I found that I was able to catch better stamp by using a hybrid feeder.
I’m in my 60’s and my vision and finger dexterity aren’t what they were (used to be a whizz at tying spade end size 20’s😊). I like pre-tied, but they aren’t always available in the hook pattern, length, stop/band etc that I want. Also, the quality isn’t always great. Recently bought some pre-tied Guru QM1’s; the silicone band on the hook shank breaks,after every take. For some;reason, the bands on these are much thinner than other Guru pre-tied. So ended up retying them myself. Tying hooks is actually quite simple if you have time and patience (work from home helps ;-).

It would help us seeing what you are doing and catching if you were to position your Camera's to your side. Not got a clue what you caught but got some great views of the lake in front of you. Also your beginning could be a bit shorter to allow for more time watching you catching. Well done though for great Win you two. Very well done. You will have to come back to defend your Crown Next Year.
